high floorParticipantC.J McCollum, Victor Oladipo, Khris Middleton. All 3 players are within 9 months of age, with Khris Middleton having 1 extra year of NBA seasoning being drafted in 2012.
McCollum is the better shooter compared to Oladipo, but statistically he’s very comparable to Middleton. Middleton is a better defender than McCollum, but Oladipo is very tenacious as well. All convert at over an 81% clip from the FT line. And all 3 have shown the ability to be a secondary creator/facilitator within a pro offense.
How would you all rank these 3 SG’s?

ZachAttackParticipant1. CJ McCollum – I honestly think that without him the Blazers wouldn’t have made the playoffs, probably would have been about a top 5 pick without him. Sure Lillard is the star, but McCollum really stepped up to the plate. So, I think that he’s the best of all of them.
2. Victor Oladipo – I just see so much more potential with him. I feel like he will be a 3+ time All Star, especially in the East and if Orlando can snag a playoff seed. This is his team now that Harris is gone.
3. Khris Middleton – Honestly, I think he’s overrated. I don’t know what it is about him but I just feel like he’s putting up empty stats right now. He’s not the best leader which was something I wanted to see from him this year. I expected the Bucks to make the playoffs and they didn’t. So maybe that’s why, is because I don’t see him as strong of a leader as both of these guys are…

Oladipo as explosive as he is at times has trouble finishing at the rim, which happens when you attack the rimwitbout control, plus he 3pt shot is inconsistent. I’m not sure how consistent he can make his jumper, but if that can improve a little, with consistency at the rim, I see him.making some all star teams.
Mccollum, has the license to do whatever in.Portland right now. He and llilard can take 40shots combined and its cool. They have a lot of good hound versatile platers around them to comfort the amount of shot they take, with good Rebounder’s, 3 point shooting,& hustlers. Mccollum is a good all around offensive threat, with great range.
Middleton is also a solid all around players. He can shoot the 3,but can put together strings of games with bad shootings%. He not a great athelete, but I think he will be a vital part of the bucks future, he looks like a great utility player. 2 notches below all star level in his prime I think. As for knocking His leadership because the bucks missed the playoffs, I don’t get why most because thought tbey would, the assrmbly of players isnt a good fit at all, but i realize most people arent logical in the world of today, & will force simething ti work in their heads regardless if its illogical or not.I thought they had a chance too miss the playoffs before the season, started and got negged the whole summer for saying so, now Gianni’s is full time point, presenting the same problem as mcw, can defend, versatile, but can’t shoot, where are the passing lanes suppose to appear from, , but everybody is excited about it. They need a big who can shoot the 3 and a solid combo guard with 3pt consistency. Either way Middleton is a good young player.

Oladipo seems like he’s leveled off a bit. He’s a good defender and he’s got a great work ethic. He does a little bit of everything. I like him a lot. Not sure I’d take him over the other two guys though..

Oladipo has been Very consistent…… 3 years; 16 points; 4 rebounds & 4.5 ast; 42% FG% & 34% – 3pt%…. His numbers barely flucuate…… But Oladipo is not a Great 3 point shooter…… & that hurts in This comparison…….
Middleton is a really good player……. in his 2nd & 3rd year his ppg jumped from 6 ppg to 12 ppg….. & in year 4 Middleton jumped to 18 points a game…… & he contributes in a number of ways…….. but like Oladipo, I’m not sure how real those numbers would be if he were on a playoff team……
All 3 players are solid…… I chose McCollum b/c he’s really in a perfect situation for his skill set…… And much more than we as fans realize…….. players that end up in a great fit have a much higher chance of developing into a name………
