valentineid say oj and westbrook. i recall a match up similar to this in vegas in aau between drose and gordan vs oj and bill walker..was a very very good game in which oj took over and dominated though there was a suspect call at the end

quincey hodgesha..doesnt stand a chance?..how do you figure that?..for one rose isnt a good defender…in the first game they had rose had 16 westbrook had 14..neither looked real good or shot particularly well that game..rose had 5 turnovers westbrook had 3..westbrook also had 12 rebounds..rose had 6ast westbrook 4

BasketballGuru24ParticipantRose is a turnover machine……Mayo will lock him down.

Bryant24ParticipantI got to go with westbrook and oj because they both lockdown defenders i think oj would get the best of eric and drose and westbrook goin go at it westbrook is better at d bit rose has the better offensive game it would be a great game though.

jeff416ParticipantOJ and Westbrook would win. OJ is the best one on one player there so I would go with them.

RickyRubio9ParticipantBoth are good defenders and can score.

xbadgerhustlerParticipantwhoever said westbrook can’t hang with rose… did u see the final four game where westbrook was the only guy on the UCLA squad who could hang with memphis’ athleticism? (lol, not that rose should have even been in that game)

llperezI’ll take westbrook and Mayo. They defend better, and Mayo is the best one on one scorer of the bunch.

xbadgerhustlerParticipanti think eric gordon is pretty equal with mayo as far as being a scorer…
0 - Posted on: Sat, 08/22/2009 - 12:45pm #204652

llperezGordon is just as good a scorer. But Mayo has better one on one skills imo. He has better ball handling and can hit tough jumpers over the defense. Gordon is more of a catch and shoot or go hard to the basket type. I just don’t think he has much creativity with his scoring as Mayo has, and that is usually important in a one on one type situation.

juicejc1ParticipantI do not recall UCLA vs Memphis lol

llperezUCLA vs Memphis in the final four when KLove and Rose played one year. Badger is right, westbrook was the only guy that held his own against the elite athletes that memphis had.

SDEParticipantRose and Gordon both played for MeanstreetExpress years back in Aau days(Gordan was better he killed us) so there chem. will be automatic but it will depend on gordon will he be able to score enough to win. I see west and mayo winning cause westbrook will guard gordon and mayo will wear rose out . Rose not much of a scorer like the other three.

doubledribblerParticipantI am taking those two guys. I’m not saying they are or are not better players, but I have the feeling that Westbrook would cause a lot of havoc driving to the hole. Plus I think Westbrook and Mayo would have better defense. I think Gordon’s shooting would keep the game close though.

IndianaBasketballParticipantAs SDE said above… Rose and Gordon would have more chemistry considering they played AAU together. They’re also good friends off the court as well. In my opinion, they’d win.

PureshooterParticipantIf it is 2 on 2 I really like Eric Gordon posting up Mayo. He could camp out in the lane and overpower Mayo for the most part.

quincey hodgesyou dont need a whole lot of chemistry on 2 on 2
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 11:26am #216096
jeff416ParticipantYeah you really dont need alot of chemistry in 2 on 2 when I play 2 on 2 I play just as good with someone I just met than someone ive played with my whole life.
