The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantMaybe I’m fishing…But If The Sixers Draft Turner…and He plays similar to Iggy…What can we get for him…Below are my offers…Guys let me know if anuy sound fair, stupid or horrible grotesque…Please Comment Below….
1. Iggy for the Kings Fitfh Pick…Why…Cousins is gone and you can’t sign any free agents…We sell this pick ourselves IMO…If not we draft BPA and trade to another team with multiple picks…
2.Iggy for the Clippers 8th..Why…Look above…No FA’s want to come and they a SF bad…Is the guy drafted here better than Iggy??? Fuck NO……..Give me D. Jordan too and I’ll take it though… Clear some cap and Draft Babbit, George or my pick Henry…Turner could be a SF in the L…
3. Iggy for The Grizzles 12 and 25th picks…Why…Rudy Gay want’s big Money…Let him go and get a guy that doesn’t need to Score to help your team…This is A little later than I want to be but We can still get Henry,Babbit or George here…and maybe get a guy that can be a good backup Center at least…Could always sell that pick to a Team like NY for more Cash…
Please tell me what I can get back…I Know the 5th is a Reach…but the 8th…and the 12th are very realistic options…

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantNo Way the Kings give up the 5th pick for Iggy IMO.

Tyreke JohnsonParticipantWhy not try and see how Turner plays at SG and Iggy plays at SF for atleast half the season before you try and trade either away, your acting like Turner has already proven himself enough to move Iggy even though he has not played one NBA game. I am not saying Turner won’t be good but these trades would not benefit the team at all, for all you know the combination of Iggy and Turner can prove to be very effective.

festar35ParticipantWhat about the Pacers take Brand and Iggy and give up 10th along with expiring contracts of Murphy and Ford (or Dunleavy)

maaronmmsParticipanti think that if they brought turner theydiggy and turner would be a superior sf and sg 2 go with each other

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantIf they Took Brand, Iggy and Lou Will….For Murphry,Foster,Ford and the 10th I’d seriously consider it…That Pick is a must Though…I’m not given up on Iggy for the Expirings…Even it Could get us a lot of Cap Room next year…I want clear cut Cap and Picks…That’s Why Iggy for the 8th and Jordan…or Iggy for The Grizzles 1st rounders and Conley…I want The Cap..and a few picks to build around Turner and Holiday…

sheltwon3ParticipantIggy and Turner do not seem like a good pairing. Latelyt Sixers have talented players that dont mesh and it hurts guys like Young that have to play less minutes or in a different position. Holiday is their lone bright spot this pass season.
Brand and Igg didn’t mix well. Also 6ers need a perimeter shooter like Henry to pair with Igg or a big Center to replace Dalembert.
If 6ers are smart they should trade Turner and see what they can get from Minny.
They could come away with Cousins and at least Anderson if they play their cards right.

Toronto16ParticipantWhy not keep em both? That would be a dynamic combo at your wing position.

Charlie SheenParticipantI like option 2 the Clippers would do it since no big name would go there maybe Melo in 2011 but not in 2010 so they trade it now what do they do with it.
1. Draft Paul George but they have Thaddeus Young
2. Draft Ed Davis they have Marresse Speights
3. Draft Xavier Henry yes Turner and Henry can play the wing together Henry will make a good 6th man rotate Young/Turner/Henry at the 2/3 spots and Philly is set there but they need depth in the the front court so……..
4. Trade the 8th for the 16th and 23rd and draft the BBA thats stands for best bigs available maybe Whiteside and Sanders and the I’d give away Brand/Dalembert for youth or expiring deals
Philly Line Up
C- Whiteside
F- Speights/Sanders
F- Young/Kapono
G- Turner/Green
G- Holiday/WilliamsBrand and Dalembert can get you young piecs or vets with expiring deals

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantTrade Iggy,L.Will and J.Smith to the Grizzles for OJ,Conley and Thabeet…works Money wise…Grizzles offer Warriors OJ and Thabeet for Ellis last year…This is a better deal for them…They get a high scoring combo guard(Lou) and a potential replacement For Gay( Iggy) a a big body to back up Gasol…and we get Mayo, Conley to back up Jrue and Thabeet to groom under Dalembert…
Holiday,OJ, Turner, Speights and Thabeet…Thad, Conley, Meeks as the young core…Lets Sam/Kapono and Green expire and go hard with that 20 Million …Buy out Brand or let him be the 3rd or 4th big man in the platoon…Run Thad at the 3 and 4 off the bench and Conley backs up Holiday…Thabeet would be learning under Sam…If it all works out We’ll have a young dynamic core of defenders and scorers and 20 million to lure a Guy to lead them to Glory…
Line Up for Grizzles
Lou Will,Gay,Iggy,Zac and Gasol…All there picks and Core from last year minus OJ/Thabeet(D Leugue) and Conley…3 first rounders would net them some players to ease to lose of Mayo….Trust me…

Dubs30Participantand Cousins is off the board, I would rather trade pick 6 for Igoudala then drafting Farouq or Monroe.

Durantula-35ParticipantWhy not just let them play together? Turner can distribute better than Iguodala, and Iguodala is much more athletic. If they make any trades, I think the most obvious one is Turner to the T’Wolves and get Cousins there, then ship away Dalembert and *try* to get rid of Brand

Mr. 19134ParticipantTurner and Iguadola can play together I dont know why people insists they cant. Iggy is better at 3 cuz he’s longer and stronger then Turner and doesn’t have a consistent outside shot. Turner plays a way smoother midrange oriented game. Its like saying Roy and Iggy couldnt play together which they without a doubt could. But I love Young and want him to be the small forward of the future. I would love to be able to trade Iggy for another top ten pick for cap relief and youth. But I also like the idea of trading Turner for the 4th and 16th. If we could come out the draft wit Cousins, and George, Henry, or Babbitt we’re in great shape. One of them 3 are liable to be around at 16 although all 3 i feel could and should go as high as 6 to the Warriors.

Mr. 19134ParticipantIggy is a strong athletic slasher, Turner is more of a smooth finesse point forward type who gets alot of points off of pull up jumpers ala Roy and Kobe. Plus Holiday, Turner, Iggy would be and incredibly dynamic and great defending backcourt and wing tandem. Kobe n Artest play together well, Sprewell and Houston worked well. Jordan and Pippen worked well. Carter and Jefferson worked well. I could go on and on but the point is having two dynamic wings isn’t a bad thing. Turner has everything we need except a 3 point shot and thats the only reason i would wanna trade him for the 4th and 16 is so we can get the post presence and a 3 point threat, I’m not sure if James Anderson would be that, I think he’ll be more of a slasher in the league but I’m also high on him too.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantIggy to the Grizzles for the 12th and 25th and 27th picks..maybe they add Conley to back up Jrue…Babbit or Henry will be there at 12…and the other two picks could be packaged to move up and get a defensive Center…2 picks for Whiteside, Aldrich or Alabi…could keep them and pick BPA…We’ve had good drafts in the last years..I’d take my chances there…

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantThe Blazers could use a real starting SF like Iggy to team up with Roy…Sounds like the deal they wanted to make when they signed Camby to that extension….The Sixers will need a defensive center now that we traded Sam Dalembert….and we could use a Sf with D and Range….
Iggy for Camby and Webster ???0 - AuthorPosts
