OldSkoolBasketballParticipantThe matchup right now in the playoffs would be Spurs vs. Grizzlies and they have played pretty well against the Spurs in the season. Season series is even and I think they match up pretty well against the Spurs.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantAs a Memphis season ticket holder the 8th spot is where i want them..The reason is they’re played the Spurs pretty well this season including 1 blowout….

Michael.S.Participantif they were 7th they’d play LA, and even though LA’s better the Grizz play them really well.

sheltwon3ParticipantThe Grizz have a better chance against the Spurs though. They could possibly move up in New Orleans struggle more to win. I think Portland will beat Memphis though so that should give New Orleans possibly a one up but i think Grizz owns the tie breaker.

llperezi think every team should rather play the spurs over the lakers. Lakers have a whole nother level they can pick it up to that we have only seen glimpses of during the regular season.

jeff416ParticipantI would rather play Dallas than the Spurs. They choke a lot in the playoffs and Memphis has played well against them this season.

GrizzNationParticipantim hoping we make it to the 6th spot, im not worried who we play, i think we match up with any team in the playoffs, but my little brother is a dallas fan and we already got tickets to the 2 home games, it would be great if both our teams were playing!

ghrghrParticipantYeah, I’d rather face the spurs than the lakers, that’s for sure, but if we could get that 6th seed and draw the Mavericks it would be even better. Don’t forget about OKC, they are playing very well and could very well get the third and even dream about the second seed. If I had to choose, it would be like this:
Mavs > OKC > Spurs > Lakers

omphalosParticipantI just think it sucks we don’t get to see Rudy Gay in playoff basketball this year. I’d go for Spurs, I’m not sure how they’ll go in a seven game series, but they could be upset with the right mindset from the lower seed.
