raybeasParticipantlike a Dynasty mode fantasy draft in NBALive.
Lebron and three point shooters, or Howard, a point, and three point shooters.

theEDGEParticipantMy team would look something like this.
G Partick Mills(Trail Blazers) Earl Watson(Jazz)
Wing: Josh Howard(Wizards), Jason Kapono(Sixers) and Dahntay Jones(Pacers)
Forwards: Al Thornton(Warriors), Brandan Wright(Nets) and Earl Clark(Magic)
Center: Hasheem Thabeet(Rockets)
Free-agent Pick-ups: Magnum Rolle-PF/C, Earl Barron-C and Sean Williams-PF/C
Draft Picks: 1st round-Terrence Jones-SF and 2nd round-Josh Selby-G.
As head coach I would give Mark Jackson a chance with Sam Mitchell as assistent.
Line Up:
PG:Mills/Selby/Watson
SG:Howard/D.Jones/Kapono/Selby
SF:Thonton/T.Jones/Clark/Howard/Kapono
PF:Wright/Rolle/Williams/Clark
C:Thabeet/Barron/Rolle/Williams

aarondsonixfanParticipantAn expansion draft is when you make a team of a bunch of free agents, just like what the Bobcats did when they just started becoming an NBA team
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 7:14am #514274

llperezactually expansion drafts have nothing to do with free agents and free agants are off limits in expansion drafts.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 7:15am #514276

sheltwon3ParticipantI thought you were allowed to take players from other team that were not protected. That is how Bobcat got Wallace. They took him from Sacramento.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 7:19am #514280

llperezyes, expansion drafts allow teams to protect 8 players who are under contract, everyone else under contract who is not protected is available to be selected in the expansion draft.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 7:34am #514290

sheltwon3ParticipantNow would be a good time to have an expansion team because most teams are deep. Some team can not protect all of their assets.

llperezso you gonna take down rgiller today sheltwon?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 8:07am #514312

sheltwon3ParticipantPerez things are looking good on my side. I am just hoping none of his players have a break out game. I have more starters playing than he has right now so i could be able to squeak by. I feel lucky to even have a chance and also to be able to redeem myself when I went 0 9 against him early on because i did not know how to play.

JoeWolf1Apparently you don’t know what an expansion draft is. You have to pick from unprotected players, big names like Marcus Fizer, Lonny Baxter, Jason Kapono and Jahidi White were selected in the last expansion draft. They did luck out and draft Gerald Wallace who came into his own as a Bobcat, but the Bulls and Mavs would not leave Rose and Dirk unprotected. It’d be more like C.J. Watson and Brian Cardinal.
Great NBA live team though, you’d probably go 82-0

providencefriars1ParticipantYou still dont get it. Pretty much all of those guys would be off limits. If you were very lucky you could get Williams and Chalmers and either Davis or Drummond but thats it.

PulseGlazerParticipantShaun Livingston – Milw, Reggie Jackson OKC, Johnny Flynn Hou
Lance Stephenson Ind, Christian Eyenga Clev
Jordan Hamilton or Corey Brewer Den, Luke Babbitt Por
Anthony Randolph Min, Brendan Wright Dal
Andris Biedrins GS, DeSagna Diop – ChaI’d hire a defense first coach to try and mold them, assuming a pick around 5 get Gilchrist/Sullinger/Lamb/Jones (Best available in group). I know it’d be a low draft pick for the first few years, but the talent is all young enough that I should find a few keepers (Biedrins, Jackson, Livingston would be my guesses) that are real contributors as the high draft picks develop.
