@Moximus-Lets say the 76ers(for an example) offered #1 Simmons + Noel + Lakers Pick in 17" and Swap Rights with The Kings which could be very valuable if They Trade DMC

@ Celtics are rawesome-Im not saying I’d ever offer that much for PG13 and I agree the Pacers likely wouldn’t want to trade PG13 in most cases BUT they just lost a Head Coach and promoted Nasty Nate McMillan, Ellis and Hill aren’t going to cut it on the perimeter for long and the only real Chips on the squad are PG13 and Myles Turner, dont know their Cap Situation but assume must FA’s don’t sign with the Pacers and they cant get much better drafting 12-18 as a borderline Playoff team barring any injuries

I could see a monster deal tempting Indiana…Hell Boston has a Ton of assets they seem to be willing to part with…

Trades that could be realistically be offered

    1. Philadelphia- Noel + 24th pick in 16’+ Lakers pick in 17"+ Swap Rights with Kings in 17′ or 18′ (Pacers bulk at this offer, not enough Assets on Paper, although Noel can play with Turner and the Picks could be Top 5 if The Lakers and Kings dont improve)

    2. LA- Ingram and Randle + future picks (Pacers may take this deal, Lakers cant trade Russell IMO)

3 Boston- Bender + Smart+ Rozier+Brooklyn and Boston Picks in 17′ and 18" (hard to see them turn down Bender, Smart, Rozier and multiple picks IF they really are shopping PG13) They’d replace Hill and Ellis with Smart and Rozier and add a F with potential next to Turner in Bender, not to mention they likely bottom out and draft Josh Jackson or Jayson Tatum in 17", having additional picks from Brooklyn or Boston to boot

I’m going to say the Celtics have the most ammo, Lakers parting with the Best Prospect straight up, Philly has the ammo to trade for PG13 but likely wouldn’t want to risk giving up too much of what they have stock piled, Boston is most interested in adding that Star Player and PG 13 makes sense

I think the pacers would love this deal if you are going full rebuild mode, as you get younger and fill two needs point guard: and sf/pf(assuming its ingram/simmons you take). The players are also on cheaper deal than PG..

Have the Lakers really offered this deal??(or is this a hypothetical deal)

If the lakers are smart they say no to this deal and keep building for 2-3 more years and take the proper approach to winning build through the draft this year and then go for a couple more pieces via free agency next season(then playoffs season after that)..

It also gives Walton a better overall roster to help mould to his system rather than one star and free agency parts which would be just a repeat of this year for them..

See mello to knicks deal as a similar kind of deal and how that worked out for both sides as an example if this deal went through….

They don’t fully hold the rights to their 2017 Pick, in fact they were lucky to keep it this year and have it land at #2 as well…

The Lakers want to make it back into contention, they are hardwired to win Championships, and have done so 2 ways, Drafting a Generational Talent like Magic or Trading for one like in Kobe, they signed 1 in Shaquille O’neal after his rookie deal expired but rules are in place where that doesn’t happen often if at all…

So either you believe Ingram or Simmons is a Generational Talent or you make a play for One via Trade (We can argue if PG13 is a GT or not later, but he’s who we’re talking about right now)

In theory it makes sense for LA to trade Ingram+Randle, maybe Russell instead of Randle even if they can get back PG13, let’s say the keep Clarkson at a decent price, add Fournier+Ezeli for a 20 million combined and keep a little cap room for a few role pleyers on 1 year deals, they’d have a starting 5 of Clarkson-Fournier-George-Randle-Ezeli with Lou Williams+Nance and a few Vets on the bench, that’s a team that could lure a FA in 2017 and 2018 right when PG13 is entering his Prime Years, a Team Luke Walton could try to mold into a Warriors lite

If I was the GM of the Pacers and the Lakers offer me the #2 pick, Russell and Randle I would have a hard time turning down that offer.
