UC1000ParticipantBeasley at least had a season averaging almost 20 and is far better than anyone on the list

Chilbert arenasParticipantWhat’s you’re point? It’s easier to believe that Embiid would be on this list. than not if he can’t stay healthy. Trent Dilfer always says your best ability is your availability. Also Devin Harris was an all-star in 2009 if you forgot and a few of those other guys are still young and shouldn’t be considered busts.

FearTheStacheParticipantWhat’s your point? Couldn’t you say that about any player in the top 5?

BA30ParticipantThe list is completely unfair. You can’t put players, especially ones that left after their freshman season’s in college, on a bust list. Plus we are talking about some players in a draft last year that many considered horrible and the year before only had one top level talent in Anthony Davis. In those drafts where the talent isn’t deep it truly is a crap shoot for players reaching their potential.

Magic JordanParticipantI must give you credit where credit is due. You are really good at creating an intriguing headline that always causes me to click… Followed by my immediate disappointment once I start reading your post.
You’re half way there.

CavFanPRParticipantMichael Kidd-Gilchrist is a solid defender. He was drafted for that, to be the best defender on his team. He has done a great job so far and is improving in every aspect of his game.
Cody Zeller is far from a bust. He actually has a chance to be an all star some day, he’s got all the tools. Athleticism, skill, work ethic and seven feet tall. His mobility is off the charts for a guy his size.
Why are you trying to make Charlotte look so bad? They’ve done a fairly solid job drafting since Rich Cho took over.

Jakes746ParticipantA name I don’t see on there is Joel Embiid… You can’t predict the future so it is pointless to list all these guys saying he will be like them.

Meditated StatesParticipantHe had no minutes to work with behind Jefferson. He is not a bust at all.

abrowniiParticipantI think your whole thought process behind "bust" draft selection is 25% right. If a player is not 4 years into his career you can’t consider him a bust. Some players do make exceptions because their play was affected by poor team management and environment.
For Example: Michael Beasley is far from a Bust, his first few year he was a legit second option behind Wade, then living in Miami negatively affected his already bad habits. He was moved constantly playing on bad teams and bad locations, and with bad coaching. I think next year if Beasley signs with the correct team that needs scoring, he’ll do fine.
Otto Porter, Thomas Robinson, Cody Zeller, it’s way too early to determine whether they’re bust or not.
Devin Harris was a legit Starting PG until injuries.
Derrick Williams began to play better once he moved to Sac.
and Evan Turner’s "bust" status depends on where he plays next year. Meaning on a team like Memphis or Miami Evan Turner abilities will be showcased, but on a team like Indiana where there’s too many ballhandlers he’ll sit the bench.
Everyone else mention are legit bust

tuck243ParticipantAre not busts either… I’m sorry, but Tyrus Thomas got a $40 million dollar contract and did everything we expected him to do. He’s just a head case I guess… Far from a bust though…
A bust is someone who showed they can’t hang in the league. Dude is TRIPPING…

Chilbert arenasParticipantTo be fair Tyrus Thomas couldn’t hang in the league, thus him not being in the league despite only being 27 years old

tuck243ParticipantI think it was because of not wanting it… $8 Mill a year didn’t come because he was considered trash… Larry Sanders is quickly becoming him though…

Captain LParticipantMany on your list aren’t busts, they may not be all star or super stars but they aren’t busts either.
Your comments on Dilfer are rediculous, he also wasn’t a hall of fame player but he wasn’t a bust, he was a Super Bowl winning QB and a decent starting QB in the league.
