dsab12Participantif the cavs pick williams number one, do you think irving would fall out of the top 2? it looks like rubio will be the pg for the wolves in the 11-12 nba season…i dont think they would pick another pg..
if that happens i think the top 5 would look like that
1. Derrick Williams
2. Enes Kanter
3. Kyrie Irving
4. Brandon Knight
5. Jan Vesely

TheLastWordParticipantMinnesota will have several trade offers for Irving in place, and will take the best one. Kanter remains an outside possibility, but even Kahn should know a Love/ Kanter front court would be too woeful defensively.

What The DevilParticipantMinny should take Irving and trade Rubio.

TyroberParticipantI don’t think the Wolves are going to use the #2 pick regardless who is there. You would think the worst team in the league would try and gather young talent., but no..

PulseGlazerParticipantWhy exactly does everyone think Kanter will be poor defensively?

jonus grumbyParticipantUtah offers their #’s 3 & 12 for Minn 2 & 20. Minn needs to throw in a kicker to make it work maybe a swap of future #’s with a lot of protection for Minn.
just throwing that out there. Utah would have to believe that Jimmer will be long gone to offer the #12.

PulseGlazerParticipantThat Utah deal works really well Jonus. If I were Minn I’d expect a bit more, though, and try and get Utah’s first rounder next year.

bloodshyParticipantBut no way Utah gives more than the 3/12 for the 2/20. And if Irving is gone, I doubt they’d even make that swap.

PulseGlazerParticipantRight but the idea is if Irving isn’t gone, otherwise Utah wouldn’t even make the deal, and the Jazz, at that point, if they want Kyrie will give in a top 3 protected pick next year to ensure they get Kyrie and not one of the other suitors for the pick.
