I was hanging out at a bar in Lexington last night and some kids who said they know him really well said he was disappointed the lakers didn’t win the first pick.. But he felt the only positive thing about going there was playing with the young players!!       I’m not saying that he’ll ask for a trade, but if it happen .. What type of packages other teams will put together to get him?     1. Lakers send randle,Clarkson and picks.. 2. Boston sends Bradley ,lee’s contract, and Sullinger.3.orlando sends vuvecic,Harris and drafts 4.detroit will they ship out Drummond? 5.phoenix will chandler and Bledsoe be enough?

Lol @ Randle, Clarkson and picks. Neither of those guys are even above average NBA players. Talk about cents on the dollar. If they could guarantee the top 3 pick before it gets swiped by Philly.. then maybe. But thats too risky

In regards to Clarkson…im going to steal Danny Ainges line. You could put a team of D-Leaguers out there and someone is going to average 18ppg. Thats Clarkson.

KAT is a boss with 15 years ahead of him. Gimme an All NBA 1st-3rd teamer or get off the phone.

    Let’s look back.

    Love = Wiggins, Bennett, Young

Love was a 2nd ALL NBA Teamer

If you want Towns, you need to pay the right price.

I don’t know that Lakers have anything that could land them KAT… Towns is a real potential Franchise

piece, great kid, he’s a dream on & off the court for any organization & I think his presence makes the

whole team that much better…. A swap w/ Phila for Okafor would be interesting – Flip Saunders liked

Okafor over KAT & he had to be convinced to draft KAT #1 instead of Okafor…. I absolutely LUV both

players – very different but Both are unbelievable prospects… With the position Minnesota is in – some

really phenomenal young Blue Chip Prospects – I don;t know that anyone has Anything that could pry KAT

loose… I hope he stays, I;d luv to see that Minnesota team build around KAT & Wiggins….

If he has been disappointed the Lakers didn’t get the first pick, he probably will have a pretty successful side career as an actor because with everything I have seen/heard/read, he seems to be pretty psyched to be playing on the Wolves with Wiggins and learning from KG.

People will stay in Minnesota if there is talent. Love never really had anyone. Wiggins will keep towns in Minnesota and Towns will keep wiggins in Minnesota. This will also keep most of their players there. A core of lavine, bazz, wiggins, towns, dieng and possibly Rubio is going to be pretty good, so why would anyone leave that

He has no leverage at all. He’s locked into a rookie deal and the team will have matching rights thereafter.  The Wolves would essentially tell him to suck it up, and if/when they start winning, all issues go away.  If they don’t end up successful, he’d be leaving as a free agent anyway (a la Love), so they’d trade him then anyway.

bare minimum; a young player under 24 who is an allstar or very near allstar and a pick, or a package of atleast a few first round picks, all of which need to be  likely lottery and a good young prospect or two (minimum).

This is why Timberwolves fans can’t have nice things.  The guy hasn’t practiced yet and already he is leaving.  This core needs health and to turn talent into production,  but there is lots of talent.  I expect one more trip to the lottery and then the push for the playoffs is on. It should be tough to leave by the time he has the chance.

I’m taking from this, what is his trade value? Towns and Martin for Blake Griffin. Towns and Rubio for John Wall. Towns for 2 unprotected picks and Aaron Gordon. Towns for Favors and Hood plus 1st round pick. I would say that his value is somewhere in the ballpark of those trade scenarios.
