RUDEBOY_ParticipantSometimes we can’t wait to see something that everyone is talking about..We might attend a movie, play or concert becuz all the hype and buzz it receives..Everywhere you look there are billboards, magazines, posters and people talking about it on the street..Even fans that don’t follow or like those type of things are dying to see what the hoopla is all about..
After viewing the 1st few minutes we are disappointed, but decide to give it a chance and intermission comes and things are going so bad the band members and the lead singer aren’t on the same page..Or the actors forget their lines..
And we want our money back..Too bad we can’t do this for the Miami Heat or Harrison Barnes…
Lebron and Bosh joined Wade in Miami ..Many people said they’ll Win the next 10 Championships and Break all kinds of records…Some vets were willing to play for free just to join this ”SuperFriends Trio” in order to win a ring..
Now almost 20 games into the season there is Trouble & Chaos among the Talents in South Beach..
The reason why Boston’s Big 3 worked so well together was becuz Ray Allen is a great ball handler,a good playmaker for a shooting guard and an outstanding shooter which opens the floor for Pierce to slash and drive ..And Garnett dispite having a slender frame plays great defense and is physical in the post and his all around game includes a very good shooting touch for a big man..
Lebron & Wade games are very similar and at times they cancel each out..They each get on 1 side of the floor and try to play to much 1 0n 1..While their teammates stand by and watch..They fail to play team ball..
Before Harrison Barnes played a College Game many media Outlets & Draft Sites Tagged him as the next can’t miss prospect..Hell he was named to the Preseason All-American Team as a freshman..Something Superstars like Shaq,Jordan,Durant or Carmelo didn’t receive as in coming freshman…
North Carolina struggled last season, but with the addidtion of Barnes some had them ranked as high as number 5…Now 2 weeks into the season they Tar Heels aren’t even in some polls..And Barnes is no longer the Consensus number 1 pick…Some are comparing him to Felipe Lopez..
But if you’ve followed basketball as much as i have you’ll know all good things take time..You know with a few changes those faults can be quickly fixed..With 2 Outstanding playmakers and amazing athletes like Wade & James the Heat should take advantage of their strengths and allow them to run more..Bosh might be a physical player but he’s not afraid of contact..He’s an athletic big that can block shots ,run the floor and rebound..Those guys on he fastbreak would be terror to other teams..
This is what other teams feared when they heard of Wade,Bosh & James joining forces..Coaches were wondering how they were going to stop those guys..But instead their coach havent invented any creative plays that fit these guys skills..
Many say Barnes will be better if he had a better point guard like Kendall Marshall running the team..Barnes seems to be forcing things ,but he needs a point guard that knows when and where to get him the ball…

RUDEBOY_ParticipantI still think Barnes will be a top 3 pick next year..The Number 1 overall pick is still up for grabs….

HitsterParticipantBarnes has been moved off this site’s mock top spot I see but I’d agree with RudeBoy that he should still go top 3 at least.
With Miami the Heat is literally on their coach, if he cannot set up decent plays for a team including Bosh, D-Wade and LeBron then you wonder if he ever can. Boston were also helped by having Rondo developing very quickly into a top PG and having a solid defensive stopper in Perkins and KG was a way better defensive player than Bosh has ever been.

OhCanada-ParticipantI agree 100% these things take time. Im not surprised the Heat arent clicking, but I think Dampier is going to do wonders for their team, and I also believe that they will find a somewhat decent PG to fill the void (like the year Jameer Nelson was inujured and the Magic acquired Rafer Alston). They can still easily win the East and compete for a championship although I personaly think home court advantage is the best they will get. Too much premodanna preppyness on that team, they are so prissy its unbelievable. Last night vs the Wizards Wade was in pain in the first couple of minutes of the game, he looked so hurt I thought he would be out for weeks and was trying to make Fantasy Sports trades for Chris Bosh. 10 Minutes later the announcers explained that he has a hangnail that has been bothering him… You dont win a NBA Championship with that level of toughness and sacrafice.

OhCanada-ParticipantAs for Harrison Barnes I have not seen him play enough to make an accurate prediction, although I must say he has always be very modest with his ranking and never was one to be a bragging type about his ranking. He seems like a good hardwkorking kid with loads of skill and a bright future. The fact that everyone expected him to be Carmelo Anthony or Grant Hill is ridiculous. He is still a superb prospect who needs to come out of his shell. Once he finds a way to translate his game to the NCAA level he will be fine. This is a for sure thing not me making predictions he is Top5 dfraft pick no matter what, the kid is too good to be struggling for that long.

stanford hoopsI donbt think anyone seems to be looking at this right. yeah boston’s big three complimented one another but they had kendrick perkins and rondo who stepped up. is joel anthony as good as perkins even back then?..HELLLLLL NO. Is arroyo as good as rondo back then? HELLLLL NO. Lebron and wade, and bosh are playing well bvut the problem is no one else is. They have other players playing who would be 8th options or lower on any other team in the nba. Its almost like wade, lebron, bosh and then a d leauge rostor. Also i dont think alot of people understand it takes time for a team to mesh usualy more then just one season. I always figured this team would show what they really are made of by year two once they have had a full season and offseason together. Treat it like the thunder the year before last when they were pretty bad but showed after a season and off season of playing together that they are a threat
