sammybuckeye13ParticipantIt’s a really good question, there was a forum on this a couple days ago. Just do another lottery and keep 15-30 the same? What are the other options? Simply redoing the league would greatly benefit it as it would decrease the parity between teams like Cle/Min/Det what have you w/out changing the rules/salaries, what have you.

surveParticipant….dont think so. We discussed on another thread and I am not sure an answer has been determined yet in the event of. Someone speculated that it could be 30 team lottery with odds based on last season rankings.

surveParticipantyes, Raptors odds would be greater, but as I suggested, if the whole season was scrapped…why have a lottery, why not just go in order of record? in that case, Raptors would be guaranteed 3rd pick.

boshjonesfordParticipant^ i dont know it just seems unfair to give two years of young talent to teams that struggled in a particular season…there should be some odds involved for all teams so they have some hope of getting something…I guess its a complicated issue and we will find out what happens

BasketBalAllanParticipantI think it would be fair to simply hold a lottery again using last seasons records. If you try and find a way to include all thirty teams, I could just see it now… and the 1st pick in the NBA draft belongs to… THE NEW YORK KNICKS.

JMoney31ParticipantAfter the NHL lock out a few years ago, I’m pretty sure they just did a full lottery with all the teams. where they have more rounds, i think they just reversed order from round to round.
