I think they should, Detroit needs a Center. They have Ben Wallace but will he be in Detroit next year will they trade him who knows? So the pistons should Take him, he is a amazing shot blocker with good size, needs a little more help with his post skills but he is a good playe rno doubt. Please comment on this.

They should take Larry Sanders, he looks like the next Ratliff.

They only take him if hes the best player available, I believe when drafting you take the best player regardless of his position unless u got a kobe or garbett their and everything else will work out. When people start drafting over needs rather then talent they can mess up and really miss out on some people, example detroit with Millic

True, but Detroit really needs a Center. I he probable will be the best player available, i think alot of people will pass on him beacsue he went back for his Senoir Season. Teams are going to think he has no upside.

Larry Sanders should not put his name in the draft this year he is only a Junior. He needs to work on his post moves, has good potential and great size, and athleticm. But also it says he is not ready for the NBA. He needs to stay another year and work on his weaknesses but not a bad idea. Just wait to next year.

teams dont just say..”hey he went back to school so he has no upside” they see if he does anything more then his jr year..its the fans and some reporters who think players must not have upside and thats why they went back. as far as varnado i really like his game and think hes has some potenial..i think right now hes a nba power foward though..needs to bulk up a lil and get more of a post game but he’s a terror on defense

I did’t mean has went back to school he has no upside thay are going to say not as much upside as the sophmore or the freshmen player.

oh i know..im just saying that thats not the nba people are gonna be saying, thats what fans and sportswriters say sometimes…in his case though they know that he went back to work on his offensive game so hes better prepared for the nba. most of the boarderline first rounders go to predraft camps and workouts and the teams tell them they should go back for another year and work on something specific

I don’t see the Pistons making the playoffs this year, especially after last night’s game against the Wolves, they look awful, they should try to get Alabi if he’s still around at #11 or #12.

alot of teams look awful in the preseason…..we will have to wait and see during the regular season to see how they will do..i think they should make it in the east

Had he came out last year, I thought the Pistons should grab Greg Monroe at 15. Since they will be higher, and so will Monroe, I still think they should get him at 10-14. Varnado is good, but he has to bulk up in a major way and add some polish to his offensive game

Its all good and well if Larry Sanders went back for a senior year to work on his game, but are you tellin me he is going to learn post moves by playing smaller bigs in his conference. He should definately bolt for the NBA if he and his team have a good year because i promise he can learn more post moves practicing and playing against guys his height and stronger.

actually he can..if he works in practice learns them then gets enough confidence on using them then thats a good thing..many college players come back work on there games then are better prepaired for the nba then thoses that leave early and try to learn them while in the nba…alot of times they are wayy to tired after a nba practice plus the coaching staff isnt spending awhole lot of time working with the guy unless hes there future supersta. they are spending more time on making the team better you know

the reason they lost is because they didnt play their better defensive bigs as much wallace and brown they played wilcox and their rookies to see who gets the remaining minutes
