David Lee, Iliasova, Monroe, i think those some names the Cavs can trade for without giving up Wiggins…

If they are willing to give up Anthony Bennett and Waiters then yeah they can get a lot.

Wonder if they can still win it all if all they add are Ray Allen, Mike Miller, and Birdman.

    Probably…

It’s funny how teams wanna get another teams best player but only wanna give up their 3rd or 4th best players.

kevin Love is a top 15 player in the league and they think they’re only giving up Anthony Bennett and Dion Waiters? Lol at that.

I guess you forgot about the Dwight Howard trade. No team is going to trade the house for Love when he already told them he isn’t resigning.  Minnesota is in a position where they either trade him for something, or lose him.  Waiters, Bennett, and a couple picks might be the best offer they receive.

I love Andrew Wiggins. I THINK he will be one of the top players in the league BUT I know Kevin Love is a top player in the league. Plus he’s not even 26 yet. You could have Lebron(29) Love(25) and Kyrie (22)  that’s a good 5/6 years competing at a high level.

A team with no leverage (Minnesota) can’t dictate the market for Love because everyone knows he won’t resign after the season. So yes a team’s 3rd, 4th option + a future first is better than nothing aka what Minnesota will get after this year. The warriors are not giving up Klay Thompson in a deal so Cleveland is offering the best deal at the moment.

Minnesota doesn’t have leverage now, but that’s why they should wait for a market to develop. At some point next season, competitive teams will be wanting to add Love, escalating his asking price.

Why can’t the Cavs keep their young players and develop them around Lebron? I think that would be the best choice.

The Spurs should be favored to win the Championship. The Heat just got the doors blown off of them in last years NBA finals and people can say it was becasue the team was old but in reality the Spurs were just better. If this version of the Cavs plays the Spurs then you might as well hand the Spurs the title  now. Plus all this Lebron and Cleveland talk is probably annoying the shit out of Pop.

If you’re Lebron you can’t keep losing the title. 4 straight finals is an accomplishmet but at the same time ow many times can a man lose the finals? Lebron needs to build a winner now so he can win while he’s still in his prime.

I don’t want to give up Wiggins, but assuming Lebron has say 6 years left as being the top player (or at least in the conversation), they probably should include Wiggins in a deal for Love. The question then becomes, and what else in addition to Wiggins to get Love ? With Love they should be in the title hunt starting next year, assuming the deal is Wiggins plus 1/2 future number 1s, plus only one other player. Wiggins, Bennett/Thompson plus 2 1’s ? That leaves the Cavs with Lebron, Irving, Love, Waitors, Bennett/Thompson.

Anthony Bennett and Dion Waiters for Paul Millsap

Cleveland: Millsap is a solid stretch 4 who would be an ideal third option.
Atlanta: Move Korver back to the 3 and Waiters at the 2. High upside with Bennet and basically a young version of Millsap.
