don042488ParticipantThe Knicks should send Wilson Chandler, Saer Sene, cash considerations, a 2011 second round pick, and sign & trade David Lee, to the Blazers for Jerryd Bayless & Joel Przybilla…Bayless the fallen college star who didn’t get to shine like his peers, OJ Mayo, Derrick Rose, Eric Gordon, Russell Westbrook, Brook Lopez, Kevin Love, and etc, did last season, could emerge into a promising young star playing the point under Mike D’ Antoni..He would also reunite with college teammate, Jordan Hill

RickyRubio9ParticipantOden still hasn’t proved himself buddy, I doubt they will move Joel P even if it means adding D. Lee and Chandler. I think Portland is going to stand as they are and hopefully the Miller sign was enough for them.

MSNYParticipantabsolutely not…
while Bayless does have unlimited potential, we would be giving away way our two best players for an unproven combo guard.
Also Pryzbilla would hamper our 2010 cap situation, and he is a lil too slow footed for the offense
The knicks would be getting killed on this deal.
I would much rather see something like bayless and outlaw in a sign in trade for DLee and a 2011 2ndrp0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/29/2009 - 5:07pm #192811
ItaliantarheelParticipantagain lee in a slow tempo offense would struggle i think. wat does he do except run the floor and rebound on a team that has no other rebounders

MSNYParticipanti think lee could really excel in a half court offense. He has a decently polished post game. He was always better down by the block than shooting 15ft jumpers. His hustle and natural rebounding skills is what results in his double doubles and that works in any system.

ItaliantarheelParticipantI just don’t see it working I mean i respect your opinion but everybody talks about the seven seconds or less offense inflating stats but then this guy suppose to be the real deal after just one season putting up stats in that very offense maybe i am just mistaken though

Knicksboy34ParticipantThat is a terrible trade.
Bayless has done nothing to deserve to be a centerpiece in any deal. I would never do any deal like that.

bgsoccer4ParticipantI cant even begin to fathom how you think that sending our top young prospect Wilson Chandler and our best player David Lee in any package that doesnt involve gettin some great players back in return. Yes bayless would be nice but we could have drafted him and didnt. Joel P is slow and cannot play in a D’Antoni offense. AND YOU WANNA GIVE UP ANOTHER PICK in 2011?!?!?!?! what the heck are u thinking man..i thought u said this is what the Knicks need to do. This is awful and your brain in on the same wavelength as Isiah.

AlexBoiiParticipantYeah I put this idea out awhile ago on this site, but I actually included Travis Outlaw http://www.nbadraft.net/node/10215 (4th reply down) …I included Outlaw so it would at least make remote sense that Bayless and Outlaw could take replicate Chandler’s numbers…and I don’t get why you include the money considerations and ’11 draft pick to make yourself sound sophisticated lol.

gatorheelsParticipantTerrible trade for the Knicks:
Lee>Pryzbilla
Chadler>BaylessThe Blazers would have to send some cash & a draft pick to New York in order for this to be a fair trade.

deshawynkeys91ParticipantTerrible deal… but for the blazers! at less i can see j. bayless becoming some type of impact player down the road where as the biggest problem i see from the knicks point of view is that W. CHANDLER and D. LEE ARE UR BEST PLAYERS!!! think about that…. in a league where teams are putting together line ups that consist of guys like… kobe, gasol and artest or duncan, parker and ginobili and garnett, pierce and allen… the knicks are talking about d. lee, w. chandler and darko
at this point if u can trade d. lee and get and upcoming talent or draft pick(s) DO IT!! the team can’t be any worse so atleast swing for the fences…
ok maybe i wouldn’t trade both w. chandler and d. lee for j. bayless
