During the playoff series against the Celtics everyone was asking the same question’What’s wrong with Lebron? We keep waiting for him to take over like he had done so many times before..But it didn’t happen..He played too passive..Acted like his mind was somewhere else..Some said it was the rumored affair between his mom & teammate..
It now appears that Lebron never wanted to leave Cleveland..But he had no intentions of playing for an owner that had no respect for his opinions..Word is that former G.M Danny Ferry had a deal on the table to bring Stoudemire to the team and send forward Hickson to the Suns..Lebron was all set to welcome Amare as his teammate becuz he felt the team needed another post presence..But owner Dan Gilbert nixed the trade fearing 2 problems..1. Amare’s recent injuries & 2. feeling he might not re-sign with the team..This pissed off Lebron,Ferry & coach Brown..Lebron confronted Gilbert about it and was scorn in front of everyone and that the Cavs belong to him not Lebron..And he was just a ball player..This might’ve upset Lebron so much that he felt like everything he did for the franchise was for nothing..Remember the mysterious elbow injury that the doctors said was just fine? Lebron was running up & down the court 1 minute he’s holding his elbow gromacing in pain…The next minute he’s blocking shots with the same arm…Maybe he wasn’t quitting on his team but felt he wanted out of Dan Gilbert’s team…Could that’ve been the reason why He seemed like he didn’t want to play during both the Bulls & Celtics series?

Most basketball players are too competitive to just quit like that. Lebron would be hurting himself if he did do that.
