Scott42444ParticipantSeriously, I think a lot of us spend a lot of time talking about, thinking about, and providing scouting reports on future NBA prospects. Because of this, I CANNOT fill out my bracket. How can I say that Kansas will lose when they basically have 4 NBA Draft picks in their starting lineup? 2 of the Top 3 (barring injury concerns over Embiid of course, which I think will make him drop but since it helps my point here I will ignore it for now) picks in the draft will be from Kansas. Kentucky? I keep telling myself that they would put it together ALL YEAR, now I feel like I HAVE to pick them because God help me if they "figure it out" during the NCAA tournament and I pick against them (although as an #8 seed, they SHOULD lose within the first 2-3 games) I will keep kicking myself saying, "I KNEW THEY WOULD FIGURE IT OUT!!!!" Anyway, I could barely make it to the 2nd round Arizona/Oklahoma St. game without changing it a bunch. I think Arizona is STACKED, but I also think that out of 60 draft picks I wouldn’t be surprised if Oklahoma State has 3 of them this summer. Florida? They don’t have any 2014 picks so how can I pick them to win it all? Also, how can I honestly pick a #13 – #16 seed to win against a single-digit seed? Every year there is some major upset and some cinderella story, but I just can’t bring myself to do it!
I can barely pick the FIRST FOUR!!!! NC State? They have the 2nd leading scorer and a possible SCORING 1st round draft pick! Also, Iowa. I am always partial to Iowa. My only "non-NBA" team that I have making a run in Iowa State. I HATE Iowa State since I went to college at the University of Iowa, but I think that DeAndre Kane and Melvin Ejim are studs and are enough to carry a team far into the tournament.
What do you guys think? I would think that studying college talent would actually help pick winners in the NCAA’s, but I think that it is actually hard for me to differentiate a GREAT college team from a team loaded with NBA talent. I think the best teams are the ones that have BOTH. But I just can’t figure it out this year. Plus, this year there is over a billion dollars on the line, lol!

Memphis MadnessParticipantI don’t have a 13-16 seed winning a game, so you don’t HAVE to pick a deep upset. Sometimes it doesn’t happen.
Yeah, I picked Iowa St. in the Final Four. They have talent and I like that region for them.
OSU sounds good, I think they can take Arizona. OSU is in my Final Four.
I have Kansas reaching the title game giving me THREE Big 12 teams in the Final Four. I just like their all around talent. But, they need Embiid by the second weekend. Sorry, I just don’t trust Tarik Black to get them a title.
Maybe as an AAC guy I have too much respect for Louisville but I have them winning the title over Kansas. Could happen, but it might not. Talk about bracket busters: Kentucky vs. Wichita State potentially in the second round with the winner facing a red-hot Louisville team (possibly). Those three are all potential Final Four teams. Good luck there!
My upsets come in the second round with 3 one seeds going down: Wichita State, Arizona, and Virginia, as well as 2nd seeded Villanova to UConn.
No matter what happens though, the Elite 8 should be LOADED. Some really good teams there (OSU as an 8 seed is my only low seed there), and I think it will show who the SOLID teams are. I don’t have a deep sleeper reaching the Elite 8 (those Cinderella teams usually lose by the Sweet 16). Florida is my last 1 seed standing but I have them losing in the regional final.
Other than that, I am seriously considering going to the Memphis Regionals in two weeks. Anyone going?

capecodderParticipantIt takes me all of ten minutes….I go with my instinct or gut feel…..usually ride a team (this year UCLA and Wisconsin…..one I fill in the bracket, I do not change it
By the way if history golds true….at least one of this year’s teams….UCLA or Wisconsin will not make it to Sweet 16

King CaluchaParticipantHaving NBA talent doesn’t necessarily means the team has better chances at succeeding. There are some college seniors who will never sniff the NBA but they are great college players.
