paradigmnParticipantSince the high school season officially came to a close this past weekend, the Class of 2013 was excluded from the rankings. Players are ranked based on production, potential, and a combination of both. Obviously rankings change, so this is just a preview of some of the best players in the country going into the spring and summer. There’s also 20 honorable mentions and a video for each player.

* Heck of a game last night. Was pulling for U of M, but happy to see a good game none the less. Behanan killed Michigan on the boards…Dieng out played McGary…Hancock was on fire…best I seen Siva play all year…and Beilein had some questionable coaching decisions at the end. If UK wins it next year like people assume…that’ll be 3 championships in a row from the state of Kentucky. Pretty incredible to say the least.

FastAndFuriousParticipantAfter this spring VJ King might be the best HS player in the country regardless of class, you heard it hear first.
I was out there in Akron, and saw him up close a few times, at 15 years old he just has things you can’t teach, he’s a legit 6’6 PG, he just needs that killer instinct in him, soon as he gets that watch out.

lalailaParticipantI feel Thon Maker and Harry Giles are the next in the line as a super hyped but great HS prospects..
one could grow into 7’1 7’2 freak with a jump-shot and reportedly sick already 7’9 wingspan..
the other even a year younger, a 14yo already with 6’9 220 body and a PRO athleticism and handles for his positiong

machu46ParticipantThomas Bryant is a really special looking prospect. 6’9″ or 6’10” as a sophomore and he has a nice smooth shot and handles ball-handling duties for a team that has a D1 prospect at PG. It looks like he’s still getting used to his body though, but I hope Syracuse stays on him since they got Chino Obokoh from his school already.
