They of course have Tony Parker who hasn’t played much this year but has played well scoring on high percentages when he has been in.

Patty Mills was a big boost of the bench in the Finals last year and he is just getting settled in coming back from injury. Valuable 3 point shooter.

Then there’s Cory Joeseph, who has simply been sensational thus far. 14.5 PPG per 36 stats and he is shooting 35.5% from 3, and a ridiculous 2pt percentage of 56.4%. He isn’t the distributor of Parker or even maybe Mills, but he is bigger and is maybe a better defender than both. In limited minutes last year as well he was doing nice things efficiently.

So how do you see those minutes being distributed come the postseason?

Also worth noting that they have Ginobili, Belinelli, Green and Leonard who will be returning at the wing. So I can’t imagine them going too many minutes with 2 of the 3 point guards in at the same time. Unless of course injuries hit.

If all three are healthy, I think pop might give the minutes to Mills since he’s already proven he’s big time in the playoffs. I would love to see Joseph get the minutes though, such a pesky defender and plays so hard.

     48 min per position.

    I think Parker gets 28, Mills 14, 6 Joseph

Come playoff time Parker is going to get the bulk of the minutes…hes the youngest of the "big three" so im thinking he gets 38 mins with mills getting some minutes at the two guard and joseph getting a few minutes when they need defense.

I see all three point guards playing a role, the importance of that role depending on the matchup. Against a team like Phenoix who plays 3 point guards over 25 minutes a game, Pop could match them by playing more 2 point guard lineups. He loves using the backups to pressure ballhandlers and distrupt the other teams flow; this is something Cory Joseph does well.
