I can name 30 guys I would pay 15 mill a year for easily. If you know you have a solid building piece who is getting better every year and is a key piece to a successful team like harden, I might pay him the Max if I knew it would get my franchise headed in the eight direction

This is the hardest decision fo r arny gm, especially for a young player, because most players stop improving their game and working hard once they get paid.

First off, the new CBA has made it tougher for teams to have multiple big money contracts so handing out 15 mil isn’t a joke.  I am also assuming this means who would I give a max contract to if they were free agents this offseason, so I’m guessing a 4-70+ or 5-90+ deal is what you mean by max contract.  That being said, I would pay a guy like Kobe or Dirk that kind of money for the next year or two, but definitely not the next four or more years.  I’m also not including anyone drafted after 2009 cuz it’s too early to tell still, imo.  That being explained, here is my list (in no particular order):

PGs: Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Russell Westbrook, Derrick Rose, Rajon Rondo

SGs: James Harden, Dwayne Wade, Eric Gordon

SFs: Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony

PFs: Kevin Love, Blake Griffin, Chris Bosh, LaMarcus Aldridge

Cs: Dwight Howard, Andrew Bynum

Total: 17
