MkadozaParticipantSeriously, this guy caught a lot of flak (mostly unwarranted) from the Good Ol’ Boys club at Kentucky, but he’s got a world of coaching talent, being the only coach in recent memory win a Championship without a first team All American or a lotto pick. He has only two seasons where his team won less than 20 games. I personally see him as a top 10 coach in America and his record of winning and recruiting is spectacular. I personally believe, as soon as NEXT YEAR, Minny could be a Sweet 16 team. What do you guys feel?

DanEboyParticipantI agree, the Gophers are a lot better then what they have showed this season. Can’t explain it.

j1232eParticipantI always thought of him as underated coach. In this game today either minnesota looks very good or purdue looks very bad. Purdue is going to lose any chance they had at a top 2 seed in the tourney, and if they play like this next week any team they face will run all over them!

DanEboyParticipantWell Purdue lost their best player in Hummel, which was crushing for them because I thought they had a chance to make a deep run.

j1232eParticipantI was also vey high on them before the injury, I now see them as a one maybe two and done team in the tourney.

MkadozaParticipantHey arc, Minnesota has some head scratching loses, but theyve beaten this year, Ohio St. With Turner, Butler, Michigan St., Illinois, Wisconsin, and currently in the process of taking Purdue. Thats the top 5 in the Big 10, all tourney teams, three of witch were talked about as 1 seeds at some point this season. Obviously you havent been paying attention this season. They are a measure of consistancy from being a very strong team. Listen to yourself… making claims with no information.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI like Minnesota but I don’t know why they underachieve.
Interesting to see where they are in the tournament.
