I see my boy Flynn is climbing in the mock. I think he is by far one of the best players in this draft. What kind of career do you think he will have? Will he make 2 all star teams or be a 5 timer? How good is Flynn?

From somebody that lives in the syracuse area he has flaws to his game, but he will be a legit nba point guard. His 3pt shot is suspect at best, but he’s an uptempo playmaker. I think maybe 3-4 all star games isn’t too much to ask out of him.

If he is predicted to make multiple all-star games, then he should go top 5 for sure. I like him, but I’m not ready to start throwing around all-star prdictions like it is a for gone conclusion.

He could be next Chris Paul. They both small but strong and fast and not so good shooters from outside.

It might be hard for people to see it but Paul was not a good outside shooter coming out either. He has made himself solid from the outside. They both are good at penetrating and kicking. Paul was a better defender coming out, and Flynn is a more explosive athelete though. I see that kind of potential for Flynn. Not saying he will be better than Paul but along those lines type of player very close to Paul.

Solid player, I am thinking career averages like a TJ Ford, Jamal Tinsley. But with that athleticism could be a PG version of Nate robinson…Not someone you build the team around

He has always played like Chris Paul, even in high school. I think he will be the best or 2nd best point guard in this class (the real fight for the top spot will be between him and Brandon Jennings). I really like the way he plays and I would be surprised if he didnt go 2 at least 2 all-satr games.

Seriously, Deron Wiliams and Carmelo Anthony have made ONE all star game apiece, and u think Flynn will make numerous?

Somebody mentioned TJ Ford. Do yall know how disgustingly good TJ was in college? Yet b/c of his size he is only a ‘good’ PG, not avg, but not an all star, either.

Flynn would be fortuanate to have a TJ Ford type career (but better since he is a better shooter). He is 6’0. He and Chris Paul are not physically in the same boat. Paul is borderline chunky, very stocky. Flynn is very lean.

I hope he proves me wrong, but his game/stats will be along the Jason Terry, Nate Robinson, etc.

Well Melo and Williams’ careers arent over, I’m sure both of them will make at least a few more all star games.

Deron Williams has NEVER made an all-star team. 🙁

For the record, Melo went to two ALL-STAR GAMES! It would have been three had he not been injured earlier this season. Get your facts straight before you talk.

DHamp… the greatest mind in basketball. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

i dont think alot of people are thinking when they say allstar…i like flynn and think he has a very nice game but when you say allstar you have to think about whos spot he will be taking…paul is young rose, williams, rondo, dharris, westbrook, jameer nelson and even mo williams….now in order for him to to a allstar some of those players would have to be hurt or he would have to just be better then them..i think they only take 2 pg per team so to thoses who think he will be a allstar a couple times over…who do you think he will replace?..its not a knock on how good he is just a testeament to how good the pg that are already there are
