Indiana has self-reported a secondary NCAA rules violation involving the recruitment of Gary Harris by Tom Crean, according to multiple sources.

In a statement released Tuesday, the school said, "Coach Crean immediately reported an inadvertent recruiting contact violation to our compliance office, and we are following our normal procedures."

Harris, a 6-foot-4 guard ranked the No. 10 prospect nationally by ESPNU, is considering the Hoosiers along with Kentucky, Purdue and Michigan State, among others.

This isn’t a Kelvin Sampson type situation, so it’s all good. Crean is a honest guy and does things by the book. Even the best make mistakes sometimes. So it’s all good and let’s get back to putting Indiana back on the map!
