Would be a great type of contrasts… Which would you count on in a finals series?

It’s bastically, will the new age basketball of Miami that has no positions, just the 5 best players on the floor, beat out the traditionally style of basketball of the Lakers? The Heat have the speed avantage and the Lakers definitely have the size advantage.  I watch the game between the Heat and the Hornets, and New Orleans big men were having their way with the Miami frontline.  The Lakers on the other hand, have a horrible bench, and they are not a great perimeter defensive team.

 The only reason Miami were able to succeed using their "new style" is because they didn’t face any teams with REAL scoring inside, don’t talk to me about Hibbert or West, or even Garnett, none of them are great post-scorers who will bully you inside.

If the Heat come up against the Lakers in a series they are going to get killed by Dwight and Pau inside. Hell, I’d love to see how the Heat fare against the Sixers and a healthy Bynum.

 The heat desperatly need on of their centers to stand out or get a center who can at least put in 20 to 25 minutes of tough defense and rebounding. If that happens they should be set. I hope that is the finals matchup. Kobe going for six(which doesnt mean as much as Jordans because he wasnt the clear leader and best player on all six teams) but it still means a lot to Kobe and his legacy. With Lebron trying to deny him of it and win 2 championships. They completely different styles that they play. David stern would be happy that his last finals was the most watched finals ever. Nash trying to get a ring to end his career on. There are so many story lines and the hype for it would be immense.
