ChewyParticipanthow all his highlights are offensive rebounds. If I’m a HS coach/player and I have a 7 footer on my team… I’d try to make a post entry every once in awhile lol.

JoeWolf1I saw that video. Obvioiusly a player to keep an eye on. It’s difficult to tell a whole lot by his video, but aside from his size and frame…he has a good habit of keeping the ball up, and not trying to bring it down for an unnecessary dribble.
Next step, if I were this guy’s coach, would be footwork. You can tell he’s so used to being bigger than everyone he’s never needed to worry about his footwork. Anyways, no needs nit picking a 14 or 15 year old, he has a bright future if he puts in the work.

Memphis MadnessParticipantHe might not get any taller, but he is already built like a (prime) Andrew Bynum. So he has already filled out which should really help him. He can concentrate on building muscle and working on big man fundamentals.

mike_r232ParticipantObviously he’s a bit raw and clearly has always towered above everyone else on the floor, but he just oozes with potential. As a freshman, he averaged 18.4ppg, 16.5rpg, and 6.9bpg. As JoeWolf1 said, he needs to work on his footwork/post moves. Thankfully, it looks like his high school coach has some experience in developing players as he was quoted saying "I do skill development and have been doing it a long time with a lot of college and professional basketball players." This bodes well for the young big man. Hopefully he keeps the drive alive and works at his game. He could be a monster a few years down the line!

HaleParticipantHe looks soft and a little stiff. However, that’s to be expected from a guy his age. He’s got great size and if the stats posted above are true that’s a very promising start. If he’s really 255 now, he could easily be well over 280 by the time he’s a senior.
