Does anyone think the Houston Rockets have a chance at the playoffs still?
    We’re 2 games out and our schedule looks like this;

    March:
    GSW (Home) Tonight
    Miami Heat (Away)
    NJN (Away)
    Philly 76ers (Away)

    April:
    SAS (Home)
    ATL (Home)
    Kings (Home)
    NOH (Away)
    LAC (Home)
    DalMav (Home)
    MinnyT-Wolves (Away)

    Memphis’s Schedule
    Boston C’s (Away) Tonight!
    ChiBulls (Away)
    SAS (Home)
    GSW (Home)

    April:
    NOH (Away)
    MinnyTwolves (Home)
    LAC (Home)
    Sac (Home)
    NOH (Home)
    PortTrailblazers (Away)
    LAC (Away)

We’re two games behind them and we hold the tiebreaker; I actually think we’ll be tied by the end of this month, but the Grizz have been playing real well as of late.
Does anyone see the Rockets surging or Grizz slipping out of the playoffs?
If so, Do you think either team has a chance against the San Antonio Spurs in the 1st round?

The Rockets have been fairly close in their games with the Spurs, the last one was close and we got some BS calls towards the end as Duncan got his lifetime achievement award call in the last minute. & the 1st game we played them we were up and all we had to do was hit our free throws, but Lee missed his and gave the Spurs a chance to tie and force overtime.
So of the 3 losses, two have been really close and could have easily gone our way; coincidentally both losses included Lee and him making a mistake.

(Also keep in mind Duncan just recently got hurt and who knows if he’ll recover and Rudy Gay is also out for the season)

Rocs have 3 game road trip coming up, that is crucial. i see 7 more wins for Hou

Grizz have 4 winnable games @ home. I see them getting 7 more wins also. IDK this should be fun to watch as teams that want to get into the playoffs & deserve to get in.

It won’t be easy, but I think the grizzlies take the last spot. I’m a Grizzlies fan, but trying not to be biased.

We’ve been playing well even without Gay(we would be much better with him) and Memphis simply doesn’t lose at home against bad teams(only loss against an under .500 team was against the Nets). That gives us 4 "guaranteed" wins. I believe we can beat the clippers in L.A.(team not motivated). That gives us 5 wins. Add one more win in all the other games and you have 6 more wins.

Houston’s schedule isn’t easy, but they have been playing very well. As jjnonz said, they should get 6-7 wins. (GSW, Nets, 76ers-maybe, ATL, Kings, LAC, T-wolves).

But none of these teams has a shot at beating San Antonio, even if Duncan doesn’t play. The Grizzlies had some tight games against the Spurs this year, even winning one, but the Spurs are just too good and have too much experience for any of these two to stand a chance.  Both are good enough to win one game though, so I hope the Grizz finally get the spot and that playoff win.

To count out Steve Nash and his Suns would nit be wise., even if they took a very hard loss last night.

I’m actually counting out Steve Nash.  4-6 in their last 10 and their scoring difference is -0.3, meaning their offense isn’t where it’s usually at whereas Houston is 7-3, playing very well as of late (4 straight W’s), and have a +1.7 scoring difference.
