Watching Portland vs Houston… Oden had to be taken off the court due to a left knee injury. You really can’t see what happened by the instant replay, but it looked like he twisted his left knee when he jumped to block Aaron Brooks.

Me too man… I don’t think he is though. I’m hoping, but I don’t know… You could tell by his face that he was in pain. His knee didn’t look right… Like it was dislocated or something. He didn’t even try to straighten it. I feel for him… He’s a good kid.

Well….Disappointing especially since he was off to such a good start, His injury is still uncertain, but I doubt he’ll see any basketball for the next 2-3months

But i think we all knew that it was only a matter of time

If I was the Knicks…I would call and offer David Lee.

The Blazers are sitting now wondering Oden or Durant? They went the wrong way. Oden is not a bust, he’s very productive but A combo of Roy-Durant-La looks good right now

with oden out. i dont think this team will make no push in the playoffs. because in the west you need big man. and oden was one of their big man who was a good damn season. but without his blocking, rebounding and his size pluggin up the middle i just dont see how the blazers can do anything in the playoffs. even if they trade for a big man.

If were adding Tyrus Thomas…I would offer

    Lee for Mills and Webster

If we did not add Tyrus Thomas…I would offer

Lee, Duhon for Webster, Blake and 2nd rounder.

I dont know. I just put those together….

A lot of people probably don’t believe in this, but I believe that when you (or a large group/amount of people) consistently speak negativity over someone or something… It can happen. The tongue is power. I believe you can speak things into existence. That’s why (The way I grew up at least… In church, etc) they always tell you to speak positive, health, etc over people and things. That’s what I was taught growing up. Too many people are about the negative these days and almost enjoy speaking negativity over someone or something. It’s sad. I just wish my man the best… Hoping that he stays positive.

In the meanwhile, I think Portland should definitely look to make a move. They need another big man ASAP. They’re extremely weak at the center position now.

They’ll probably target Marcin Gortat, hes not Oden, but he can snag some boards, and block some shots, he’ll do solid behind Pryzbilla

I see you’re trying to be funny, but it doesn’t quite work like that nor is that what it’s about. It’s about speaking positivity over someone’s life. Speaking something into existence isn’t saying “I’m going to wake up with a million dollars under my bed.” It’s saying things like, “The8thDeadlySin is going to be a successful college student.” What comes out of your mouth is powerful. A lot of people don’t understand that.

I don’t know if you’ll find a million dollars under your bed lol, but you seem smart… I believe you’ll be successful financially. If you speak it over your life, then you’re that much more likely to believe it and it’s that much more likely to happen. You should try it.

Man, that sucks I wonder why its so hard for him to stay healty? I hope he bounces back for this, because I hear he is a great person to be around. I bet my boy fifty dollars that Oden would be the top center in the league in five years, looks like i’m going to lose, and its not for lack of talent. If he keeps getting hurt, then every year will be a rebuilding year for him. Good luck Oden!!

During our debate over the #1 draft choice, I was a big time advocate of Kevin Durrant for several reasons, one of which was his slim build, the kind that is usually injury free over time. I thought Durrant was potentially a better player, but I also felt that Oden was one of those big men who is injury prone.

Having said that, this is one time where I’m sad to be right. Greg Oden is a classy young man with lots of talent and I hope he can somehow come back from another apparently season ending injury.

sooo sad oden doesnt deserve this he worked so hard this offseason and was playing real well. hes a real nice down to earth guy and feels like he is letting his team down. seems like injurys are the only thing getting in the way of him becoming a dominant center because everytime hes on the court he produces. please get better greg we are not ready to give up on you

Did I just receive a lesson in life?? Do I owe you money or something?? I have seen people charge more for less.

Personally, I blame the trainers. Nah, unfortunately, this kind of thing is what Oden is/will be remembered by. It is sad because he has great potential and athletic ability. Guy could contribute to a team in a positive way but I feel like the Blazers are gonna hurt themselves by, dont take this the wrong way, waiting on Oden. Understand that I think it is worth the wait if he stays healthy, but it seems as if they are gonna wait around on him for only a few extra wins. By waiting on him, I am saying that they wont look for another person to take his spot because they are gonna be planing on him for his entire career. It is a sad sad story but I am a realist and thats how I see it.
