    Greek player: Kostas Vasileiadis

    Position: SG/SF

    Height: 6-7

    Weight: 225

    Description:

Vasileiadis is an amazing shooter and scorer. He has unlimited shooting range and his specialty is definitely the 3 pointer. He can play in either the 2 or 3 positions in offense and defense.

He is known for having a super quick shot release, and for being able to get his shot off with just the slightest space and time. He can knock down the 3 from any spot on the floor. He runs off the ball and is very hard to to stop coming off screens.

He is also quite athletic. He’s a good ball handler, and he’s also very good at creating his own shot and finishing around the basket. He’s known as being one of the very best scorers (maybe even the best in the current time) in the Spanish League.

He’s also a decent passer and play maker.

He’s not known as a good defensive player, but he’s not a bad defender either. He’s actually probably quite a bit underrated on defense. But, he’s probably more suited to guard the 3 than the 2.

Anyway, he’s one of the most explosive scorers currently playing in Europe, and he can take over a game all by himself at any time. Once he gets hot…the other team simply can’t stop him. He just starts lighting it up.

A lot of people think he might be the best player in the Spanish League in the current time, since Navarro is ravaged with injuries and at the end of his career. I don’t personally think he is. I don’t think he’s the best player in Spanish League. But, a lot of people do. So that’s a point to be made. He’s probably considered to be the all-time Bilbao Basket player.

    Here he is in YouTube:

The “best scorer” averages 15 ppg and does little else to affect the game.

These are great players, though they could have been on a single thread.

The problem is that from the 3 players that EB presented, two are too one-dimensional. I could make a point for Papaloukas starting in the NBA under the right circumstances, but Vasileiaidis would have been used as gunner off the bench and Pelekanos as a defensive specialist a la Tony Allen. IMO none of them would have thrived. As I said before, it’s not because they aren’t good players, it’s because they display a different style of basketball

I didn’t say he was the best player in the Spanish League you moron lying troll. I said I did NOT think that. STOP LYING.

And “no one thinks he is the best player in ACB”…………pure 100% total LIE!

Spanish League forum did a vote and he got 1/3 of the votes and was second in voting behind Navarro. Fernandez was third.

And in the ACB fan website vote (official) he finished in the top 3 for best player in the league vote like 3 times.

You have no clue what the hell you are talking about.
