    Greek League all-star game: March 14, 2010

Olympiacos Piraeus big man Sofoklis Schortsanitis was the clear star and MVP of the 18th Greek League all-star game after recording 42 points on near-perfect shooting to lead Team Greece to an impressive 147-114 victory over the Rest of the World in Heraklion, Crete. Both the winners and Schortsanitis set records for the most points scored in the history of the event. Schortsanitis bagged 42 points on 16-for-16 two-point shooting, 3-of-5 three-point shooting and 1 of 2 free throws to earn the MVP trophy.

42 points in an All-Star game where his team dropped 147 points and won by 33 is supposed to answer questions Big Sofo as a player? Comon’ I know we are just puny Americans who know nothing about basketball, but you can’t expect us to buy what you are selling by puttin up stats in an all-star game.
