Lebron’s HairlineParticipantNbadraft.net has him compared to penny hardaway but he’s not as explosive, he reminds me of Shaun Livingston before his knee blew up

rhamnlacsonParticipantthe combo of rubio and derrick williams for minesota

baggin13ParticipantIt will really depend on Brandon Roy. Shved could see a lot of minutes at SG, and he can also play PG. But his status as starter will greatly depend on how Roy comes back, and if he can stay healthy. He should be alright in Aldeman’s system considereing it is very pass oriented. and having AK with him will help him transition. But I think he has the opportunity since MN has only one other SG and thats Roy. The other option would be Budigner, but he is a 3. I expect Roy to take it if he is healthy, but Shved could see a lot of minutes backing him up, or even taking the job if Roy needs to put on the brakes (hope not).

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantI heard shved may see a ton of minutes at point guard until Rubio comes back healthy, I’m still shaking my head on how this guy went undrafted, this guy is crazy talented as you can see by his play in the Olympics

rhamnlacsonParticipanthim as a PG/SG hybrid (shved) he could back up either Broy or rubio

Pistol Pete. The PelicanParticipantWatching the Olympics, he looks like a more skilled version of Sascha "The Machine" Vujacic.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI like this comparison…
That Shaun Livingston one is just setting the bar too high. He’s not that talented.

hubhubParticipantI’m not sure about that. He’s by far a better shooter than Livingston, also has very nice point guard skills. He’s not that athletic but for an European player he is beyond average. For me he has starter potential for sure. I dont really think Shaun Livingston is a good comparison. I dont see many similarities beyond that they both are tall for a point guard and skinny.

IndianaBasketballParticipantHe’s a better shooter than Livingston and that’s it.

kobyzParticipantAnthony Parker

JoeJoParticipantI see some similarities with Goran Dragic, although I think Shved plays with a bit more overall flair. That’s not to say he’s better than Dragic who looked really good when he got to start for Houston last season.
I hate to add another white guy but maybe Jason Williams as well. I haven’t seen any real circus passes like Williams used to do but like Williams, he shoots a ton of pull up jumpers, is pretty creative with his handle and is a bit turnover prone, at least from what I’ve seen. He’s got some swagger to him.
To get cross-racial, maybe George Hill. His defense isn’t like Hill’s but they’re both combo guards who are good shotmakers and can execute pick plays well.

ENOGSIWONdedeHe is a very tough comparison I have never seen anyone combined great passing and shooting with horrible basketball IQ like this guy. Some of the closest guys would be Pistol Pete, Hardaway, Vazquez, Jaric, Hughes but really none are too close.

ENOGSIWONdedeDragic is a decent comparison too

rhamnlacsonParticipantcould be a future star in the league given the right situation

TallmanNYCParticipantThe Wolves have Lee, Barea and Riddour. Shved might handle the ball before Rubio comes back but I don’t think he will be on the court without one of those three guys. I assume Shved would guard the 2Gs with these guys on the court as well. So I don’t thin he will ever really play PG.
By the way, while the Kahn moves were good this year. Why did he go out and sign Lee when he already had Rubio, Riddour and Barea locked up for years? Maybe he thinks he can play Lee at the 2G spot. But I just don’t get it.

European BallerParticipantHis basketball I.Q. is so low. He will drive every coach he has insane.

rhamnlacsonParticipantdo you have any player comparison of him?

baggin13ParticipantHow about Rudy Fernandez with better handles, but similar game
0 - Posted on: Thu, 08/09/2012 - 5:04am #704609

PureshooterParticipantI really can’t think of many guys his height with his playmaking ability. I was thinking of Jrue Holiday, but Shved is taller with more athleticism. That said, Jrue has a great nose for the game and gets the most out of his ability, so I don’t know that Shved will ever be as productive as him.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantHe is a bit in the middle of Greivis Vasquez (taller) and Chandler Parsons (shorter).
