Last night Gordon Hayward had one of the best dunks of the preseason so far:

He kept rising and rising! Damn!

He’s not the quickest laterally, but he’s still an underrated athlete. I’ve always loved his ability to jump off of either foot. His left foot is his dominant jumping foot, but he jumps off of both damn near equally.

His added bulk will give him more confidence to attack the rim like this.

Gordon is getting better and better and under coach Qinn’s offensive scheme Hayward should enjoy a better year than last year , maybe not by alot but I think he will be more comfrotable and he will do things easier and better. So far after 2 perseason games ( I know preseason doesn’t mean anything for the most part) the core 5 are playing well showing improvement and buying into Snyder’s phylosophy , should be a fun season watching these young kids develop even if the wins are hard to come by.

well, with what GH signed for in the offseason, he better start doing things like that more often.

He could have a big year. His efficiency struggled last year, as he was asked to do so much for the Jazz. I really think as he becomes more comfortable as a featured player, his shooting numbers will raise back up to numbers closer to his first 3 seasons.

I don’t think Utah will be good, by any means, but with a young team I think their year to year improvement, will help out everyone next season.
