At 6’6, isn’t he a bit too small to play SF?

If he can defend the position he can play the position. I think he’ll be able to defend 2’s.

If he can defend a SG, he can play the position. Does he have the lateral quickness? I think so.

Robinson’s skillset is better suited at SF. He plays alot like Kawhi Leonard.

Skillset has nothing to do with it. Contrary to some belief, good small forwards have to be able to handle the ball, pass and shoot just like good guards have to.

But he doesn’t handle the ball well and can’t create his own shot. So he would have a tough time being a SG. Thank you for making my point.

Neither does Danny Green and he plays guard next to Leonard. If you don’t think small forwards have to handle the ball or create their own shot, then I’m guessing you haven’t watched Lebron, Durant, Carmelo, Pierce, Gay, George, etc play. The list of wings who can handle and create their own shot effectively is small. That’s why they are so highly valued. There are both guards and small forwards who have role player skillsets.

I’m sorry to reject your thanks but I don’t think I made your point for you.

i dont deny that he COULD play the 2 but i would rather have him playing sf..Looks a little too slow to be a full time sg

He seems athletic and quick enough to defend guards so I’d say yes.

He can play the 2 right away. I think he needs some more maturing and growing as a player but I’m sure after his rook year he will be able to defend the 2

GRJ cant play the 2, will be interesting to see how he fits into the NBA…A smaller Al Farouq Aminu maybe…

i guess that wouldnt be the worst thing, gr3 shooting seems to be better than i remember Aminu’s being at wake so maybe he could just do all the little things thats necesarry to be a short small forward
