JoeWolf1Very cool, I think James White could be a 26 or 27 foot long jumper if he trained.

GrandmamaParticipantGreat video, I’ve always loved to watch James White. I can still remember the McDonalds All American Dunk Contest where he was killing it, got robbed by fellow gator David Lee. Also college dunk contest he competed in he blew that up. James White is the best dunker in the world right now, no question. It’s too bad he never developed in the NBA.
4:28, what???? omg this man is ridiculous……I know this is going way back for some of yall, and probably before some of you were born, but please tell me someone who watched that dunk played Lakers vs. Celtics NBA Playoffs for Sega Genesis back in the day. If any of you did I know you will remember Tom Chambers’ signature dunk in that game where he flew from the wing and double-pumped some ridiculous dunk. Flashbacks watching this dunk, haha
New dunk contest format, 3 chosen from the NBA and one contestant from any professional league in the World. I also think whoever wins the contest should have to compete the following year. Who wouldn’t want to see James White for the next 5 years doing NBA Jam type dunks??

LeroyJenkinsParticipanti had an idea like that after the last dunk contest except i was thinking 3 NBA chosen player and the fourth chosen from the NBADL

M-DYMESParticipantAfter the last dunk contest, I started thinking maybe a layup contest would be better ;). You know we could have some nasty finger rolls or do the unthinkable and actually put a layup off the glass!!! lol

thaprodigyParticipant^^I thought that’s what they were doing
BTW does anybody realize James White has ring?

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantI’m still waiting for somebody to dunk the ball after a double through-the-legs, and James White is on my short list of players that might be able to do it.

bron42Participantwhat are you guys getting all excited about? James did the same dunks he does in EVERY CONTEST. I give way more credit to green. Watch white in high school, cinnci midnight madness, even the college dunk contest he lost, he always does the foul line dunks, always does the between the legs etc..It was almost his exact routine from the mcdonalds dunk contest and that was what? 7 years ago? Green did dunks hes done before but added alittle to it like the dunk from the side of the basket and his windills.

llperezunclebuckshot, that’s too funny man. That dunk was exactly like the tom chmabers double pump dunk where he brings it down to his knees and his head is above the rim dunk. Bringing up lakers vs celtics is some old school stuff right there.

Tobe BryantParticipantObviously he does the same dunks, but they are still entertaining and 100 times better than any NBA dUNK contest slams.

Anton123ParticipantIMO T-Dub, Air Up There, Jus-Fly, Rudeboy are all way better than White, they can almost do anything

LeroyJenkinsParticipantwhen your taking off from free throw line distance on almost every dunk you do…i think its ok to repeat them
