BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantTwo playoff teams, one in the East and the other in the West, are looking closely at Antoine Diot.
Edwin Jackon’s agent was seen having a lengthy discussion with a representative of the Lakers who have four second round picks.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantWhether Benzing gets drafted or not, he is automatically eligible this year as he was born in 1989.

French FlairParticipantThese 2 prospects play as pros since 2007, I think Edwin Jackson would fit better in NBA games than Antoine Diot. Even if Diot has proven more leadership and PG skills than Jackson who’s more of a combo (too short to be a full time SG), Jackson has a really good jump shot with good athleticity.
I really think this year there won’t be any french player drafted (Lauvergne & Albicy have retired their name to this draft today). There’s still an intriguing prospect, it’s Bangaly Fofana… he’s still at 21 a work in progress with no shoot, but a 7-footer with a really high motor and very good speed must be considered in late 2nd round.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantA team like the Lakers with four second round picks isn’t going to use those picks on players they intend to bring in next season. They’ll either sell them off or take guys who commit to developing either in the Europe or their NBDL affiliate.
