OhCanada-ParticipantThe Gamecocks have arrived and Frank Martin is back. After being snubbed last year South Carolina has gone undefeated until tonight’s loss against a pesky Seton Hall team that is one of the best teams in a tough Big East conference. They lost by a layup and entered the game without thier leading scorer Sindarius Thornwell. With Thornwell going down the door is open for Dozier to breakout and emerge as a NBA prospect.
I always loved watching Martin at Kansas St and routing for him against Kansas as he completely went ape sh*t on the sidelines. Fun to watch not fun to play for I bet. After his players all decided to transfer on him he bolted to South Carolina and has completely turned this program around but will it last?
I always liked the Gamecocks. They have one of the coolest team names in sports, they recruited Canadians (Duane Notice), and are usually an underdog which is easy to cheer for. The SEC is not too deep and they should do well in conference play this year. I hope to see them play Kentucky in the SEC tournament and would love to see an upset (but highly doubt it).
Dozier is about to breakout and show us his versatile Shaun Livingston type game. He has added some muscle and once his shooting becomes consistent the skies the limit for this young man. Although will his knee issues effect his draft stock? I’m pretty sure he has no cartilage in his knees.

OhCanada-ParticipantAlso Duane Notice is the most disappointing Canadian player I’ve every watched and followed even more dissappointing the Kabongo or Bennett. 1-10 in this game as the teams veteran and leader. just depressing.

ChoppyParticipantI haven’t seen much of Dozier play but I’d like to see him break out as his uncle Terry was one of my favourite players growing up. He played for my hometown team (same team Dave Simmons – Ben’s dad – played for too) and I met him once at a school event that he came to.
That means we can claim PJ as an Aussie right? (Joking, people…)

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantGlad my local Gamecocks are finally back around. I haven’t been this excited since our local star(played for our rival high school) devin Downey led them to beat #1 Kentucky a few years back. Sucks Sindarius is suspended; he’s another local star that I know and have played against in high school basketball tournaments. Anyone know what the suspension is for? Every since that happened he’s gone ghost on almost all social media. It sucks seeing as he was finally showing off his well rounded game with nice shooting numbers and was looking like an NBA prospect again.
