This is my first mock of the year, I ask you guys to please give your constructive criticisms on picks that you think may not make since as well as picks you do like. I take heed to all criticism so I do encourage you all to give your feedback.
Thank you all who took the time out to look at my mock & give your thoughts.

thunderbear82ParticipantIt looks pretty good. the only thing I’ll say if Thompson goes into the draft, I think he’ll go higher. he had a pretty good tournament.

Lotto StudParticipantI was contemplating with him & Marcus Morris swapping spots.

butidonthavemoneySolid mock, all around.
I think Terrence Jones is a little high and Jonas Valanciunas is a little low. Enes Kanter falling to the Cavs at 8 would be a steal. Not sure that happens.
Quincey put a link up that said Thompson and Hamilton were planning on staying in school. Jordan Williams will almost certainly stay in school and I’m also not sure that Henson comes out this year.
Motie to Golden State is questionable, but possible I supposse.
I like Sullinger to Washington, but I don’t think the Wizards are that smart.
Vesely to Milwuakee would work well.
Nolan Smith would make a great Celtic.

OhCanada-ParticipantI like Sullinger to Washington, but I don’t think the Wizards are that smart.
They will probally pick Perry jones…The SF edition of Javale Mcgee.

SwatLakeCityParticipant^^^Ouch, Oh canada. I had to laugh at that one. But I believe that Perry will play the 4 in the NBA not the 3.
basically no money took all of my thoughts. Darn you no money, you beat me to it, but here are 2 of my own additions to what he said:
I doubt that the Warriors would select Montie because they already have Lee playing the 4, so they would have to start Montie at Center; we can already see that that hasn’t worked out with Toronto. The Warriors want to be more of a defensive team. They went through a complete transformation last year. This is part of the reason why they drafted Udoh last year. They want to be like the Celtics and Montie would not work if that is the plan because he is the complete opposite of D.
If Kanter is available when Toronto is on the clock. They would take him. They wouldn’t let Bargnani play Center again. He is not slipping to 8. That would be a complete steal and Toronto would seriously regret letting him slip.

joecheck88ParticipantI think it is almost a done deal that Tristan Thompson and Jordan Hamilton are returning.

butidonthavemoneyIt’s funny, because I’ve always compared Perry Jones to Andray Blatche.

SwatLakeCityParticipant^^^ To me Perry is more of an Anthony Randolph. Tons of potential yet can never seem to harness it. I think the same will happen to Perry.

Lotto StudParticipantI like Perry Jones as a Jonathan Bender without the jumper
0 - Posted on: Thu, 03/24/2011 - 3:17pm #513368

OhCanada-ParticipantJonathon Benders whole game was based on being a 6’10 guy with a jumper. Teams projected him as a SG lol.

cycloParticipantPerry Jones reminds me of a young Thurl Bailey the 6’11" SF who used to play for the Utah Jazz in the early years of the John Stockton and Karl Malone era.
I think Perry Jones ends up better than Jonathan Bender and Anthony Randolph.

Lotto StudParticipantCan we please get back to my mock please LOL we done turned this into a Perry Jones comparison thread

nateoak10ParticipantI will ask this question again.
With us getting David Lee why in the world do we pick Donatas? Soft no defense jump shooting bigs is exactly what we are trying to move away from. Hence the drafting of Udoh

Lotto StudParticipantI will take this into consideration for my Post-Lotto mock…….what prospects would you consider
0 - Posted on: Thu, 03/24/2011 - 3:42pm #513386

butidonthavemoneyTerrence Jones? Alec Burks? Williams Buford? Kawhi Leonard? Chris Singleton?
I’m just throwing out names. Maybe they should trade the pick.

Lotto StudParticipantThanks, but I would like to hear from Nate Oak since that is his team so he should know what’s best for his team.

topotamolderParticipantIt looks great, the only weird thing that I see is Norris Cole at pick 54, He is clearly an early 2nd round , and a lot of people is saying that he can even get into the 1st round, specially due the lack of quality pg’s.
I would’t be surprised if he gets drafted in the late 1st round, but I guarantee you that he is not going to fall more than pick 40.
I also see Justin Harper getting drafted higher than a 47

Lotto StudParticipantThanks for the advice, I will take that into consideration in my Post-Lotto mock. It really took me a while to do the 2nd Round of my mock.

Lotto StudParticipantDoes anyone else see any loop holes in my mock?
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/25/2011 - 2:33pm #513721

JNixonParticipantI think it’s solid, but you should wait until we officially see who declares, what teams are picking in what range, and whatnot before you really get good opinions on your mock.
