    Whats everyone’s favorite 1-on-1 matchups in the past 5 seasons of the NBA? It can be offensive player v. offensive, offensive v. defensive, whatever. Be creative with you approach. Here’s a few of mine:

    Chris Paul v. Deron WIlliams – The infamous "Who’s the better PG" matchup

    Carmelo Anthony v. Lebron James (Cleveland)

    Dwight Howard v. Shaq -These two had some funny matchups

    Joakim Noah v. Kevin Garnett – Noah once idolized KG, but now…

    Ben Gordon (CHI) v. Ray Allen – 2009 Playoffs, need I say more?

    Shane Battier/Ron Artest (HOU) v. Kobe Bryant – "Sick ’em"

    Dirk Nowitzki v. Tim Duncan

    Best 1 on 1 matchup I’ve seen on live TV was in the 09-10 season, Melo vs Lebron in CLE I think it was. Melo and Bron were going back and forth all game, then Melo hit a mid-range jumper to win the game, and Lebron slipped and missed his shot at the other end, was an insane game.

    Also, Rudy Gay and Lebron are fun to watch go at it, especially last season, with that glorious pull-up baseline fadeaway Rudy nailed.

    More generally, Rondo and Rose have a nice rivalry going; Rondo trying to lock up Rose and create for others, Rose just trying to score a bucketload. Two very good PGs, very different styles, and of course it all began with that infamous first round playoff series.

    I live in Sacramento so i get to see tyreke vs. steph curry or monta ellis pretty often. It’s a pretty exciting matchup.

    Years ago it was fun to watch them go at it. Two offensively gifted talents putting up 40+ against each others’ teams whenever they played.

    Tony Allen/Ron Artest defending KD

    Perkins vs Dwight

    Perkins vs Nene (They damn near always get into it lol)

    Perkins vs Z-Bo

    Serge Ibaka vs Blake Griffin (Ibaka seems to take this matchup personally to prove something)

    Blake Griffin vs Carl Landry (Carl Landry tries to prove something too)

    Blake Griffin vs Chuck Hayes (good battle… Hayes doesn’t give an inch)

    Lebron, Dwade and Bosh vs. Adam Morrison.

    And if we go by championships rings, Morrison’s winning.
