Lotto StudParticipantAlmost everyone has that guy on a prestigous team or team period, that is not the best player on the squad but you love them anyway. Who is your player?
Dexter Strickland UNC
To only average 7.5 ppg, he plays with a high motor & does things that do not show up on the stat sheet. He may not have the handle or be the ideal sized SG, but he plays hard. Dex has that "it" about him, that I see in him to prove everyone wrong by his Sr. year. If he takes the time out to work on his handle & J whenever that may be he will be a force for UNC. I pray he becomes a prospect!
Nickname is the Dexxx Factor! Enough said!

JBrace19ParticipantDeAndre Liggins, outstanding defense, good ball handler, shooter, slasher, great leader, and he doesn’t care that he isn’t the best, he knows his role and does it well!

JoeWolf1I’m a big fan of Quincey Acy, he’s just a beast plain and simple. Not that skilled, a little undersized, but has a great motor and frequently has a monster dunk or swat. Just a fun guy to watch crash the boards and make energy plays.

NO EZ BUCKETSParticipantTony Allen has got to be my fav role player. A grity, devensive minded player that only wants to win. Did I mention that he can dunk with the best of them?

JJeff6ParticipantNot sure if this count because of the school and player but LaceDarius Dunn was a guy who was awesome, he may be considered "the man" though. Baylors also got Perry Jones, not sure if they considered him or Dunn "the man" this last year though.

JoeWolf1^ Dunn was most certainly "The Man” for Baylor last year despite Jones being a better prospect, I’ve enjoyed watching Baylor over the past 3 or 4 years (hence me picking Acy) but Dunn was a favorite of mine too.

ultrablue123ParticipantSyracuse: as for last season, I’m gonna go with C.J. Fair. One of the less heralded freshmen recruits that SU brought in last season, I was extremly suprised at how well Fair played, and loved his hustle and intangibles. Looking forward to seeing what else he can bring in his sophmore season.

BasterdInABasketParticipantIm right there with you on Jae Crowder. Hes an all around great college player. Too bad Marquette didnt sign him before he went to juco.
Also Mike Bruesewitz from Wisconsin. He was awful as a freshan but really came on strong to close last year. I expect a big year from him as a third option to Taylor and Gasser.

NCarmean18ParticipantLast year I really liked Matt Howard when Shelvin Mack was the star, because Howard played with so much energy and passion, and he always gave 120% every damn night.
I also liked Mike Davis of Illinois, he could really electrify crowds with his dunks, and for as skinny as he is, he could hold his own dunking over people. It was extremely fun to watch.

NYFLAVA2K9ParticipantMiles Simon was a beast at AZ even though Mike Bibby was the man… I’m really rooting for Abdul Gaddy this year though. He was a beast in HS and kind of got lost in the shuffle at UW behind upperclassmen like Isaiah Thomas, Venoy Overton, and Justin Holliday. With them three plus Mathew Bryan-Amaning leaving im expecting Gaddy to break out this season.
