And I thought it was kind of funny that the only person who didn’t vote for Kyrie Irving for Rookie of the Year and voted for Ricky Rubio was ESPN Deportes….

    LOL

I think all of the vote winners would probably be the people I would ultimately vote for. The one I was thinking about was LeBron for DPOY, but I think I have gone to the side of Tyson Chandler. Sure a few peoples votes would anger me, but the majority seemed to get it right. Truly is hilarious the ESPN Deportes guy voted for Rubio over Irving. Couldn’t have replaced him with a guy from ESPN Australia :)?

The ESPN Deportes guy might’ve just been trying to stand out and pick "sleeper picks".

He was the only one who picked Rubio as ROY.

He was the only one who picked James Harden for MIP.

He was one of three to pick Lionel Hollins for COY.

Was one of two to pick D12 for DPOY.

And was one of two to pick KD for MVP.

The guy might just be trying to make a name for himself.

What I cant understand is how espn can say that the biggest surprise in all of the rookies is Kawhi Leonard. Its in their all rookie teams article. And Ibaka deserves more than two votes.

I love what Tibs has done in Chicago this yr but I just don’t see it going to anyone but Pop. Like that he still is getting recognition tho.

Harden is the obvious 6th man, but who would you guys pick to round out the top 3 or 5 for that category?

All these picks were on point…disappointing Ibaka got no love for DPOY though.
Other than Harden I would think Lou Williams & Al Harrington would be the top 3 6th men this year.

Well, Rubio did turn around a really crappy team. He had them in the 8th spot before his knee injury. Then his team went to
complete crap without him. That shows the value of Rubio. Kyrie Irving should be ROY but you could make a case for Rubio.

Irving helped make the Cavs fairly competitive early but then they ran out of gas.

Big drop off after the top two rookies with Kenneth Faried, Isaiah Thomas, Chandler Parsons, and Iman Shumpert being the next rookies on the list.

LBJ pulled away late with the MVP award, but KD (the scoring champ) deserves more votes.

I think Jeremy Lin should have gotten more votes since he did play in half of the games but I can’t
really argue with Ryan Anderson. He played most of the first part of the year at an all-star pace.

The DPOY award is a toss up between LeBron and Tyson Chandler but LBJ is getting the MVP so it will be hard to give him both.
I will give it to Chandler with Tony Allen coming in fourth with Dwight Howard fifth.
