The Scare Crow RisesParticipant76ers…Jeez, thank god its finally over and we can begin to look at the Draft Lottery and a summer full of moves hopefully, we can only get better at this point…Lets hope they land Brandon Ingram and throw some money at a player like Evan Fournier at SG…Im just going to leave the Colangelo cronies to their business, which better not include trading away every pick and prospect gathered by the fallen one, Sam Hinkie…
Bucks, weren’t you supposed to be good, all the Giannis hype, you signed Greg Monroe and have two nice Wings in Parker and Middleton, seems like they regret trading for MCW, seems like another year in the lottery for Milwaukee, I see them taking Dejounte Murray to replace Knight-MCW at PG…
Bulls, is it time to blow it up?maybe trade Rose to Philadelphia for some future picks and call it a day, let Noah and Gasol go to contend elsewhere and build around Butler and Mirotic while they’re young, the window closed when Thibbs was fired and Hoiberg became HC…
Cavs, you guys really don’t have a chance to win it all this year, and it doesn’t get any easier next year either, Irving and Lebron dont fit, trade for Brandon Knight and some pieces from Phoenix and hope they add Archie Goodwin in the deal…Knight-Goodwin and a Pick for Irving seems fair to me
Celtics, man do they have a good thing going, they look like the heir apparents in the East, I would love to see them land a Top tier Free agent to lead them (Durant should really consider them when it’s time to talk contract) With all those picks the front office should try to land a player to compliment Durant down low, dont think Sullinger or Olynyk get it done, I’d like them to keep Kelly but they need to add a Shot Blocker
Hawks, man are they on their way to some tough decisions, Horford and Milsap are clearly the best players and the heart and soul of the Hawks, but they are getting up their in age, and they’ll need new deals soon, how much do you pay them, and is it going to be worth the price if you cant get out of the 2nd round in the East and have no real shot at a Championship, this isn’t even taking into account what to do with Teague and Schroeder, one has to go IMO…
Heat, would love to see this team with Lebron at Sf lol, no seriously they look like a legit team lacking that Star SF when healthy, they still have all the right players in place, just need a Lebron right, if they can stay healthy I can see them give a few teams headaches in the playoffs, just dont let them play Boston, sheesh…
Hornets, I’m so torn on them, if healthy they could be a good team, versatility on the wings with Batum and MKG, they just need to move some of the bigs plus Kemba possibly and move on from the Big Al Era…first they have to resign Batum and find a way to add talent at PF and C sans Jefferson…Man would Jamal Murray look great at PG on the wing with Batum and MKG, Kemba would be best used as a 6th man IMO
Jazz, I’ve been a Gordonite since he played for Butler, and I love what the Jazz are striving to do, they barely missed the playoffs in a tough western conference, but in my dreams I see a trade happening where the Jazz send Hayward to Boston for the Boston pick via Brooklyn, IDK why, I just want to see him play for the Celtics(76ers fans here as well) I think the Jazz are in a nice spot but Imagine them with 2 lottery picks and the potential to move up into the 3-6 range with 2 lottery picks, I think Murray or Hield make sense next to Exum-Hood and the Favors-Gobert duo…

ZachAttackParticipantI agree ship Hayward to Boston, I’ve been saying that ever since I found out that the Celtics had Brooklyn’s pick this year.

BiggysmallsParticipantIf I’m Utah, the only way I’m dealing Hayward is if I can draft Ingram instead.
Otherwise thats preposterous. Utah has a nice core, they need a PG. Wouldve loved to see if Exum couldve taken a step this year.
If I’m the Jazz, I’m hunting for a PG this offseason. Knight/Bledsoe could probably be had for a price but the Jazz have assets. That’d be intriguing.
I liked your bit on the Heat needing LeBron. They are the only team that could use a superstar small forward like LeBron 🙂

Hype MachineHaywards not that good man…Rodney Hood is a better scorer and when Exum or someone else takes the playmaking responsibilities out of Haywards hands he loses even more effectiveness. Hes a bit of a ball stopper too who is average et everything and great at nothing.
I have a feeling Haywards trade value is higher than his actual value right now. A top 3 pick…id take in a heartbeat.
Exum has to learn the NBA and recover from an injury at the same time…very tough ask next season. The Jazz should have signed a starter for 2 years before 15/16 but went with Burke and Neto. Now its going to be a tough sell to a quality PG knowing that they’ll favour Exum who they love.
