RUDEBOY_ParticipantIt seems the Heat’s current 6 game winning Streak has kolled the talk of disarray among the team..But not everyone is happy in Miami..Eddie House the 10 year vet..Is unhappy about not playing in the team’s last 3 games…House hasnt played since The Heat defeated The Cavs last week…
He told a Miami newspaper,” he doesn’t know why he hasn’t played..”I’m baffled and as dumbfounded as everyone else”..”Its not like i played myself out of the rotation, becuz my numbers speak for themselves”..I dont know why i’m not playing, but i dont have any control over that..I just have to be prepared ,when my number is called..
Does House realize that Chalmers has replaced him in the rotation? And the only reason he was giving minutes was becuz the coach had no other choice but to play him becuz they didn’t have another backup point guard..House isnt a point guard and his ball handling is too iffy..He was also inserted in the lineup for his outside shoot spot-up shooting and the Heat already have 1 in James Jones..Chalmers is the better defender..House might have a reputation as a instant offense..The Heat have scored 10.7 fewer points per 100 possessions with House on the floor compared to when he’s on the bench..And on the other side of the floor the normally stingly Heat defense gets 4 points per 100 possessions worse when House is out on the floor..Overall the Heat are 15 better per 100 possessions than when House is on the floor…

delfamParticipantThe Heat really don’t need offense so I’m not surprised Chalmers has passed him. Jones is also more of a team player and doesn’t jack up shots if he’s not open so I’m not really surpriesed House isn’t getting any time.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantThe Heat inserted House becuz of 1 thing and 1 thing only thats his spot-up shooting..If you watch them play ..They only pass House the ball when a play breaks down…Or Lebron or Wade cant get to the basket…

RUDEBOY_ParticipantChalmers was inserted for his defense.A few years ago he averaged almost 2 steals a game..And he can also he the open shot…

Meditated StatesParticipantBecause Nate could shoot, handle the ball like a pg,and penetrate, pass. Neither are great defenders, but Nate is better than house on D. Those issues are the same things that are keeping Eddie off the court for the Heat right now.

doubledribblerParticipantThe funny thing is I always assumed that it was going to come down to Arroyo and Chalmers. I thought that whichever of those two started, that the other one would not play and that House would get the bench minutes. Kind of surprised, but I understand House and his limitations.

MelParticipantI mean I guess you are supposed to have confidence, but really guy? Eddie House is pure trash.. Can shoot if Lebron or Wade can break the D down and I still dont have confidence in him.
He is one-dimensional, cant dribble, pass, defend, or athletic. Sit down buddy

Mike23456ParticipantI really cant even believe dis guy is complainin considering in his last 6 games he is 5/18 on 3pt shots=(28%) his is not a good ball handler no he doesnt turn the ball over but hell he rarely does have it anyway come playoff time i think he will be huge similar to how boston used him. I mean come on E.House u had to kno that when pat riley contacted u to be apart of the team u was gonna have the same role. your a 5-11 SG and u only really got the plyin time u got early on bcuz M.Chalmers was hurt so suck it up and just be ready come playoff time and be happy Mike miller hurt or u would of had alot more DNP’s

Da1potParticipantHe had been absolute garbage this year. His attitude and body language have also been questionable in my opinion. He was acting like he actually was Lebron when they played against Cleveland and was talking a lot of trash. He had the kind of attitude that he was going to go down to Miami and be a big part of an incredibly dominant team. Well, that has not worked out so well……

IndianaBasketballParticipantWhen did Eddie House start thinking he was more than just a shooting specialist? This isn’t Arizona State… He just needs to be happy he’s along for the ride and be ready when they call his name.

andxxxParticipantEddie house is not good enough to be upset about anything

TooNice4TVParticipantThey need to start chalmers, and give arroyo’s minutes to house. Arroyo’s numbers for 20min a game is ridiculous.. he doesn’t even average 5 assists with the big 3 around him.

Tongue-Out-Like-23Participant^ TooNice4TV
It’s very hard to average many assists to players who need the ball in their hands.
Plus James averages 7apg and Wade averages 4, so it’s really difficult for Arroyo to get more than 5.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantPlus
Arroyo is a better shooter than Chalmers, and they need shooters to spread the floor, Arroyo is shooting 48% from the field and 50% from the 3pt line.. Chalmers shoots 40% for his career and 33% from downtown. So Arroyo playing a lot doesn’t surprise me.
