Hear me out, D-Will is obviously on a serious decline, Rose hasn’t played well, Kyrie is hit and miss at times,Rondo is out, Holiday is out West.

This is a serious debate that holds weight, and not to mention Teague had a career high 33pts and 10 ast tonight.

He’s been the best PG in the East so far to me, and can only be second to Wall if anything.

Teague averages the most assist, and I believe is 2nd in points far as PG’s go in the East.

you know the east pg position has been bad so far when teague and a rookie pg has been the best to start the season.

but with that said, the fans are gonna vote rose in so the other spot could come down to d will (if he wakes up) john wall , jeff teague and kemba walker.

But with all due Respect Teague is putting up respectable numbers right now that can match any PG with 20 and 10 per game, only PG with numbers better is CP3 20 and 12, granted it’s still early but I don’t see Teague slowing down as Budenholzer has given Teague the ultimate green light and he’s seems to be thriving big time in his new system.

Yea man I believed in his game since Wake, dude got game fareal, all he needed was a real opportunity to showcase his abilities. Scary thing about this year is his jumper isn’t even on yet, he’s a much better shooter than what he’s been showing, I’m not going to go overboard and put him up there with the CP3’s yet, but as I said all along I believe he can be a top 10 PG easily, long as he’s consistent.

20,10 3 TO’s per game and 8 FT’s per game, playing as well as any PG right now.

Since it’s coaches voting in the reserves,  then yes he has a great shot. Coaches don’t care about putting stars in, they’ll vote for those who deserves it.  Teague deserves it.

Also,  kudos to you for sticking by him.  I had pretty much given up on him and was looking forward to Schroeder as our pg of the future. What do you think happens- has Teague cemented his spot as our pg, will Danny Ferry sell while his stock is high?

He could be, but I still think Kyrie, Rose, and Wall have better shots. I would be surprised if D-Rose didn’t pick his level up by the time allstar weekend comes along.

I stuck by Teague because I could see times when Josh Smith was out with injury Teague would look like a whole different type of player, and I knew as soon as Smith was gone Teague would blow up this year, Smith was a cancer to Teague.

No, I think Teague is staying put, because as far as this year goes if Teague is to be traded it’s his call, Teague can veto any trade for himself this year, so unless he WANTS to leave this year then no I see him staying put, Schroeder is wayy to raw right now and his jumpshot isn’t as good as it was advertised in his pre-draft scouting report, although I do think he will be a good PG one day.

As an Atlanta fan Teague has really surprised me. I always thought he was a little on the underrated side of things, but he has been blowing it up recently. If he keeps this up there is no way he doesn’t make the allstar game.

He has the ball in his hands more now that the black hole Josh Smith is gone and has been nothing short of spectacular thus far. His combination on quickness and athleticism is too much for most guards to handle, but the key to his improvement this year has been getting to the free throw line more. After averaging only 2.8 FTA last year, he is up to 7.8 FTA this year. He should be the STARTER if the all-star game were to occur tomorrow.

Teague has always been an underrated PG but he was always overshadowed by other scorers/ball-handlers.

    Johnson + Smith; Teague’s stats: 12.6 PPG, 4.9 APG, 2.8 FTA
    Smith; Teague’s stats: 14.6 PPG, 7.2 APG, 2.8 FTA
No Smith or Johnson; Teague’s stats: 19.4 PPG, 9 APG, 8.0 FTA

When Johnson was traded and Teague’s numbers went up, that’s when I knew he was set to have a great season when Smith was traded or left.
