valentinei (along wit others) said it was too early to already claim youre prediction of melo leadin the nba in scoring..right now its kobe(although i think his average will drop) which brings me to something else..someone on here said since kobe is on the other side of 30 that is was no way he could average even early 30ppg anymore and that he was too old to score like he used to even if he had to..well right now hes averaging 35ppg and can still score alot when he needs too buddy…i dont remeber who argued about it but i will check and find out….not predicting kobe will lead the leauge in scoring but just proving a point that it was too early to gloat about melo leading the leauge in scoring

whiteflashParticipantMan, as far as I’m concerned Bryant could lead the league in scoring until he decides to hang ’em up. His scoring dropping the last few years is because he chose to focus on different things, not ’cause he couldn’t.

Dhamp2ParticipantWhat up quincey hodges!!! I hear you bro. But re-read everything I said in my post a few days ago. I said Melo is leading the league in score after four games, and that’s all I had to go off of was four games. I still think Melo will earn the scoring title.
Now for whoever said Kobe can’t still score 30 a night is crazy.
Dhamp2…the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

quincey hodgesok i found a lil bit of some stuff
SUP- melo is a better scorer because he has a better shooting stroke then kobe and kobe is old(not word for word but this is what he said)
SUP-Kobe is the greatest player we’ve seen since Michael. But he’s old and not the scorer he used to be. Carmelo is an underachiever and he’s not always in shape…now this is what he said word for word

quincey hodgeswait a minute…you said kobe cant back anyone down or score in the paint……not sure if you have been watching but kobe has been scoring at will whenever he post up(which he been doing awhole lot this year)and backing ,who ever has been guarding him ,up

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantI said that it’s not a big deal that somebody is wrong on a prediction, and you call me out and say that I don’t care. Straw, meet man, and the other way around. If I didn’t care, then I wouldn’t have left a comment. You love to start arguments and call people out, don’t you Quincey?

quincey hodgesmy point being was if its not a big deal to you why announce it when the fourm isnt about if its a big deal to you or not but instead about dhamp and his prediction…couldnt we all say big deal in every post on here?..but what sense would that make

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantNo need to call me out. If you don’t like something that somebody says, then just ignore them. What I said was a little unnecessary and I apologize, but there’s no need to call me out. Anyways, it’s way too early to say that somebody’s leading the league in scoring. Nobody has even played 10 games yet.

TheAlchemistDon’t worry about it OJJ. Quincey thinks he is the smartest basketball mind in the world, next to Hubie Brown. But he isn’t. He’s always going on about how he is right and always predicts the right stuff. Ignore him.
