Man, I would’ve loved to see that team go up against D.Wade, LeBron, Bosh, The Celtics, Magic, etc. now-a-days. By time all these guys got tough, they began to get worse.
I’m talking about the Billups led Pistons..
Would they be good enough to have come out the East in past years ?

The Glory Days was when they were ”The Bad Boys ” in the late 80’s..The team that won in 2004 couldn’t beat the Bad Boys or some Eastern teams from the 80’s like Jordan’s Bulls,Bird’s Celtics i dont think they could’ve beaten Dominuque’s Hawks..They were least talented but played as a team..Each player on that team were hungry..And had something to prove..Billups had been labaled a bust after being the 3rd pick in the draft..Hamilton was shipped out of Washington for Stackhouse..Tayshaun was labeled too skinny & too soft to be a NBA player..Rasheed had a reputation as a trouble maker..And Ben was added in the Grant Hill deal..He was almost out of the league..

LOL. I know, I just see that team as the Glory Days since I wasn’t born in the 80’s..
& I was asking if they could beat the teams now-a-days..Such as last years Celtics, Magic, Cleveland, Lakers, Suns, etc. Teams that are very good now..not when they were the Best in the East.

I know I miss actually looking foward to watching pistons games. Now the pistons have absolutely no direction as far as the decisions theyve made dealing with personell. i hope joe does go to new jersey because other than the few lucky pickups he made back in the early 2000’s he really hasnt done anything to help the team.

Yeah..I miss watching the Wallace boys..And hearing Mason doing the intros…I haven’t watched them on TV that much much since those days..But i have seen the Pistons play in person..The Magic & Glory is gone..That 2004 team were great defensively..It would’ve been very interesting seeing them play the 2008 & 2010 Celtics..
