Ok, so I’m split on this. I was watching the Hall-of-Fame ceremony and I kept seeing rodman in the crowd, which started to get me thinkin…Why isn’t Dennis Rodman in the HOF? Does he deserve to be in the HOF? I am 50/50 split on this. On one side He was a 5 time nba champ and is one of the greatest defenders and rebounders the league has ever seen. But he also was one of leagues worst embarassment. Kicking cameramen and getting into trouble left and right.

I do not know whether he should be in it or not. I wanna hear what you guys have to say on the subject.

Rodman dominated the game in his own way, his presence was always felt on the court, and he was one of the most intense characters, I think he can eventually be inducted but he’s probably going to have to wait awhile, and im not surprised he wore a nose/lip piercings to the H.O.F.. ha

IMO he deserves it 5 championships and he was a part of it in his own way….i doubt well ever see him make it though

No Ricky Rubio, maybe he will be on the ballot next year, but they will decide on who makes the cut next year, they cant say a year before that he is going to be in automatically

He has to go in the Hall of Fame look at those credentials. With MJ, Scottie and Denis all in the hall would be good to see. That was the core of the Bulls for those Championships.

I think Rodman should get in. Like some of you said, he dominated the game in his own way. He was different from Ben Wallace and Marcus Camby because he dominated the defensive end of the ball for close to a decade. Ben Wallace only had 3-4 years as a dominant force and Marcus Camby has doesn’t have a ring and multiple rebounding titles. Rodman’s 5 rings and countless rebounding titles, and accolades on the defensive side of the ball are far superior than any player to play after him. For his dominance I think that puts him in despite the fact he never averaged over 12 points per game, but he did average 18.7 rebounds one season while playing the entire season. Who since Bill Russell or Wilt has accomplished that feat??? In the 1996 NBA Eastern Conference finals I watched a 6’7” 210 pound Rodman out muscle Shaq and completely take him out of that series. Love him or hate him, you can’t take away the fact he was a master at his craft, and that was rebounding. For that, I think he should get in.

Sure a hall of famer, the only reason why I see he may not get there is the fact he did not care about NBA rules, but IMO he was the best defensive player in his era, if you are the best in something you must be a HOF, he was extremly consistent too, unlike Scottie Pippen, but I’m 100% sure Scottie will be there
