McDunkinDarius Miles was arrested at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport after he allegedly tried to take a loaded gun on a plane, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
Miles was held around 3.30 p.m. on Wednesday after X-ray screening at the airport helped security officials to detect the loaded firearm.
Miles last played in the NBA in 2009.

MJBrownParticipantWhat an absolute moron. I’m sure Gilbert Arenas will bail him out.

Krypt14ParticipantHow dumb do you have to be…?
If it’s true though he must be in pretty serious trouble, can’t imagine authorities will be any way lenient for this kind of offence.

JNixonParticipantI wonder why he thought they weren’t gonna check him? They have metal detectors at every airport, how could you think you weren’t gonna get caught??

frogmanParticipantHaha i remember Shaun Rogers did this and couldnt see what he did wrong. You really have to question the intelligence of people who think that bringing a loaded gun onto a plane is legal when you cant even bring nail clippers onto a plane. He probably meant no harm but its just idiotic.

M-DYMESParticipantI’ve gotten onto a plane with a pair of box cutters before (Post 9/11). Put them through the belt along with my watch and cellphone…etc (I forgot it was connected to my keychain). They didn’t say a thing. Makes you wonder…

LevinSParticipantAllow me to share something!Given the current rate of collection, Delta Airlines will be the first air service to collect $1 billion in luggage fees by 2014. There is a reason behind it though, as airlines are struggling to flourish and have been for some time. If you need help paying unexpected airline fees, use an personal finance.
