CodySLCParticipantThe Jazz may be a small market. But they have a pretty rich basketball history. It would be great to see him finish his career in Utah like another all time great point guard did. Lets just hope times havent changed. As of right now Derron seems pretty happy.

hiphopismylifeParticipantI wouldn’t bet on that happening. Especially once Jerry Sloan is gone. All that goes out the window when you stop winning. It’s so rare.

bigmilsteadParticipantDisagreed,
1. Black people hate Utah
2. Utah hates black people
3. He will never win a championship there

CodySLCParticipantRight Utah hates black people. Its doesnt matter what color if skin you have. Thats why we have all of 4 white people on our team. 4 and a 1/2 if you count Derron Williams who is half white haha. But seriously, as long as the Jazz stay competitive i doubt he leaves. His style of play fits the Utah offence perfectly. And with Al Jefferson under contract for 3 more years, A.K.s 18 million $ contract expiring at seasons end we can only get better from here.

SwatLakeCityParticipant"Black people hate Utah?" bigmilstead, you must be drinking some serious koolaid. Stop drinking it and take a look at the Jazz roster. Why would Al Jefferson agree to go to Utah if he’s black. And what about Raja Bell, Jeremy Evans, Ronnie Price, Earl Watson, Deron Williams (In your case, although he’s more mixed as is Bell and Watson) And why would Utah decide to bring those players to Utah if they hated black people? And what about Karl Malone, he was black yet he stayed most of his career in Utah.
Once Coach Sloan leaves, I think D-will will still stick with the Jazz. They have a great GM in Kevin O’Connor who I am sure is prepared for this sort of thing and already has a few guys lined up who could coach the team in his plays. He will most definitely find the right guy for the Jazz when the time comes.
