Why is this big news? Because trust me, Wayns is talented. Im not here arguing that he’s a future all-star, or that he’s the next Jeremy Lin, but this dude is a solid pg. In the Clippers system, if he was to ever get PT (injury?), he will thrive and show his talent. Again, hes not gonna become as valuable as Bledsoe, but he will become valuable enough to give the Clips options this Summer. Bledsoe can be dealt for other positions and Wayns will cushion the blow.

If Paul leaves, doubt it, Bledso starts and Wayns is a solid backup.
But best case scenerio, once Paul resigns, they will be even more open to dealing Bledso to sure up other positions. Thoughts- Bledsoe to Orlando for Afflalo and either Harris/Harkless? Paul has the perfect backcourt mate in Afflalo and the Clips brings in a young sf prospect that can fit in immediately. Orlando get their pg (better than any pg prospect). Imagine if they got McLemore- thats a nice backcourt to build around.

Again- Not saying Wayns will blow us away, but at the end of the season, we will all agree that he makes Bledsoe expendable.

Bledsoe for Afflalo AND Harkless/Harris? That would make for a good sequel to the Town if they were able to pull off that kind of heist. Bledsoe is a nice player, but he isn’t really a PG. He is really athletic and fits nicely as a bench guy, but I have questions regarding his ability to run an offense and do more true PG duties then what is asked of him right now.

Anyways, I agree with ur idea of Wayns. I always was impressed when I saw him at Nova but for wahtever reason the team just didnt click. I think he could develop into a nice backup, or at worst a playable backup in the case of injuries.

I agree, I too have my concerns about Bledsoe as a starting pg, and I think he will ultimately fail. But if I was the Clips, Ill strike while the iron is hot and get everything I can get for him.

he is talented but so are the clippers. finding a spot to play on that team is a long shot. i like the hornets signing henry sims. he should have been drafted last year and came into the zone in the dleague.
