I know its only been one game, but he has been awful and unreliable all postseason. I’m rooting for the kid but it baffles me that he’s still in the rotation. He’s been incapable of making open shots, & his decision making and poise has just been terrible. So I must ask the question is he one of the worst rotation players in finals history? Who else is on the list?

I really hope he bounces back though

George Hill. Tops the list. He simply is over-matched at the NBA level.

He was just embarrassingly out of control last night.

I would expect an adjustment period for any player to learn the nuances of playoff basketball, but to me it is inexplicable how Clarkson shot 44.3 percent from the field through four years in the NBA, but in 18 playoff games, he’s shooting 30.3 percent.

Some players just aren’t capable of coping with an extra level of pressure, and Clarkson is obviously one of them.

I thought him and Iman Shumpert were helpless in the last finals. Theyboth simply couldn’t score at all.

I grew up as a Celts’ fan in the ’80s. When they won the championship in ’86 they had a strong bench of Bill Walton, Jerry Sichting and Scott Wedman. But none of those guys ever had a healthy or decent season again. From ’87 on, the Celtics attempted to compete for championships with basically no bench.

Remember Darren Daye, Fred Roberts and Greg Kite? I wish I didn’t. But they all played regular minutes in an NBA finals.

       They both involve basketball.

Satisfactory answer? Good, I thought so too.

There is an NBA Draft forum and an NBA forum. This thread should have been posted in the NBA forum.
