valentineI know the usual egomaniacs will give me negatives, but tell me why the hell not.
Knight is not well suited to run the point anyway, and is a good shooter, defender, and strong enough to guard the SG.Plus he will be the best available player anyway. That will be a great dribble drive backcourt, and Jamison,Hickson. and Varejao are great finishers.
PG: Kyrie
SG: B.Knight
SF:Jamison
PF:Hickson
C:Varejao
I think that is good enough for 8th seed in the East next year

Tobe BryantParticipantWhy create one of the smallest backcourts in the league? But it may work since they are in the East. Just get Knight use to being manhandled by the Kobes, Joe Johnsons, and other big guards every now and then.

apb540ParticipantYou beat me to it WardB12. Also, why do you say Knight isn’t a PG radartrade? What kind of evidence do you have to support that argument?

surveParticipantI know you and I both are going to get some negatives for this, but thats not as bad an idea as people think. They wont win many games by picking and playing both of those guys, but in a couple of years one of them will be real attractive trade bait and the other they can keep to be their lead guard. Its just a matter of picking 2 great potential PGs and seeing which one develops quicker or fits the system better. I do have to add that I would not start them both.

kslack24ParticipantCavs take Derrick Williams #1 and trade #4 to San Antonio in a parker deal. Maybe something along the lines of #4 and Hickson, for Parker, Blair, Splitter and #29?

TRC1991ParticipantThey’ll end up going with a combo of Irving and Valanciunas/Thompson but in reality, a better combination would be to go with Williams #1 and Knight #4

kslack24ParticipantIf they take Valanciunas I will no longer be a cavs fan. He doesn’t help a team like Cleveland one bit, cus he won’t be over for probably 2 years.
