Very confusing moves by the Pistons. I know they need shooters but it doesn’t look like Detroit has any direction at all. Looks like they’re signing players to sign players

Augustin left the Bulls. I am mad.
These moves are weird, but now Detroit has an actual SF!

After Augustin signs, Detroit will have 18 players. If Harrellson and Siva aren’t retained (I hope Siva is retained BTW) that takes them down to 16 – still one above the maximum. Either a buyout (hopefully Bynum) or a trade (hopefully Josh Smith, possibly Monroe) might be on the cards.

And are never coming back! (Good riddance). Villanueva is blogging about working out and trying to get another contract (good luck) but haven’t heard anything on the Stuckey front.

At least S Van Gundy is busy.

So Drummond is Van Gundy’s new Dwight Howard, and he is trying to have shooters around him.

For team balance, if Detrout can move out Jennings and Smith and keep Monroe it might be a good offseason.

Stuckey would be a good option for the Clippers off the bench, Charlie V might disappear but if someone is giving money to B Gordon again then maybe a team out there will want Villanueva.  Maybe a tanking team needs him, his percentages are terrible, so the 76ers might sign him up as they need some bodies who will be able to take the floor.

At least they didn’t go out and sign Ben Gordon or Charlie v again lol. Butler at Augustine r good veterans that can help the young guys, and help off the bench. I would like them to resign Monroe, try to work trade smith to Houston. That’s my pipe dream
